Good international (electronics) stores ?

Hello People,
Hope that everybody is doing well! I have a plan of buying a portable 1TB hard drive (usb 3.0 ) since last year, I made/saved money, got a credit card, did a lot of reviews about different products, what should I buy etc ... But I actually never searched for the store (website). Now, few days back I logged in to AMAZON and asked their customer service do they ship to Pakistan and charges, they said YES and 6.00$, this made be happy as amazon is a reputable store ... But when today I wanted to buy BUFFALO's MINISTATION PORTABLE 1TB hard drive, they said this item cannot be shipped to PAK, in fact many of items can't be shipped ... :-(

Now I m really confused about which international store I should choose, whose shipping rates are also very reasonable. I dont want to get it from E-bay because of the fraud ... , TIGER DIRECT, NEWEGG, BEST BUY etc don't ship to Pakistan :-( :-( :-(....

any help / guides / suggestions from you guys will be appreciated .

I dont want to get it from PAKISTAN, as the 90% items here are refurbished and if not they do come from the SH** LOT of factory!

I have looked to the 2nd site u mentioned, the prices are a bit high but the shipping cost is free, so it good, have u ever shipped from these sites ... ???

Keep one thing in mind that importing almost any electronic goods (especially PC stuff) to Pakistan would cost your really really expensive due to the custom duty tax thing (apart from the shipping cost). So unless you don't know anyone coming back to Pakistan from the States, its pointless to even consider it.

Why only consider Buffalo's HDD? There are many other brands in the local market.

Also try checking their official site 'where to buy' section and look for a nearby country such as China or India as an international search. All the possible stores send them an email or contact them if they can deliver your product to Pakistan and the cost it will take for the shipment.

The first thing special about it is the Name = BUFFALO :blah2: , secondly I was a big fan of Western Digital My Passport for a long time, but then suddenly I didn;t like its LED feature and design of USB slot when I friend of mine showed it to me though it was a 320GB version but seriously it never fascinated me, I can't find SEGATE hard disk here too ...

Secondly as a university student I shop a lot of electronics, wheels, stuff to PAKISTAN and PEOPLE deliver and know about PAKISTAN (e.g digikey, cytron, sparkfun, hobbyking etc )

I doubt they are not using their own technology. Must be an old story caz for the past few years all hard drives they make are their own genuine products not affiliated to either seagate/WD or any other company.
