I'll be honest, I've stopped using stand offs after I got the trophy for the max-enemies-killed in one. At my current equipment/skill level, it's faster for me to kill 4~5 enemies in open combat. But then again I spent an ungodly amount of time on the first island so I am incredibly OP on the 2nd, not everyone will be the same way.

Some of the duels have been fantastic. The choreography and locations you fight them in are breath taking, if the fight themselves aren't anything to write home about.

Funny how it was interpreted to suit one's needs. I stand by own statement of using stealth, hence the word 'forego' preceeding stealth, which is like my basic principle, because the game offers much more, but then again you won't be able to understand and will try to take things out piece by piece like a 15 year old on a vendetta mission.

So yeah, let's not talk about principles and honor when one can't understand the value of those themselves, and when the vendetta is present to just disprove by whatever means and context that can be used.

It was interpreted based on what was stated. "Sorry, can't stealth this game....cuz ma honorz". Your posts are just as glitchy as the game itself. I'd compile a video of the glitches I encounter, but it'd probably end up having the span of a full length movie

If you can't understand wordplay, then what can I say.

Can't stealth this game? Sure I can, stealth is unlocked later on and I'm still stealthing it. Do I like standoffs? Yes I do.

Probably the wordplay thing that wasn't understood, was the talk about honour in that sentence, which was taken from the game's own dialogue.

I wish I could say I didn't see this newly formed vendetta coming my way, but unfortunately I did. So go ahead, continue on.

Man, the camera does somewhat ruin the enjoyable combat unless you are in an open space without trees and stuff. The game is hella fun though and there's so much exploration and side quests, which is still keeping me from playing the main story. Probably only played 3-4 main quests and I'm still on the first island.

Yeah when parts of the surrounding environments get between your character and the camera, they don't get culled out in GoT. This is a rudimentary game development 101 feature nowadays, and I'm surprised that a big budget first-party game doesn't implement it.

Hoping it gets fixed via a patch soon.

Being Stealthy In Ghost Of Tsushima Will Affect The Weather

In Ghost of Tsushima, protagonist Jin's actions will actually influence the weather--and we don't just mean when he plays his flute, a mechanic which allows you to switch between sunny, foggy, rainy, and storms whenever you want. No, how you choose to fight the Mongols will change the weather as well.

In an interview with Ghost of Tsushima creative director Nate Fox, he told me, "The game is definitely scripted to provide more storms as you do things which are extremely Ghost driven."

This game is B.E.A utiful. Apart from the weird camera issues and the not so enjoyable stealth, the game is outstanding in pretty much everything else. Playing on hard difficulty and I'm really enjoying the combat too but the perfect parry window seems a bit to hard to master.

Just finished and Platinum. Really solid game, definitely Sucker Punch's best one till date.

Excellent send off to the PS4 if this is indeed the last big exclusive.
