What is better to buy a gaming PC or a gaming laptop?

I know that a gaming PC can be upgraded or made new depending on whether it is old and/or newly made but a laptop cant be made new or upgraded if it is getting old. My question focuses on whether buying a new gaming laptop is better or just making a new (from old) gaming PC or buying a (entirely) new gaming PC all-together? I am not looking to buy a new laptop/PC rn but I want advice for myself and for ppl wanting to buy a gaming PC/laptop.

If you like mobility, like wanna game where ever you go, or don't want to be bound to a desk while gaming in your home, then laptop should be the choice. It costs almost twice as much as a gaming PC with similar performance.
I see no other reason except portability and budget limitations to chose between PC and laptop.
Upgrading old PC is the most economic option for gaming. Your decision should depend on your priority. If it is budget, then forget laptop, upgrade your PC. If it's mobility, then you Will have to sacrifice on budget and get a laptop.

I see. What would you consider a good gaming laptop/PC these days where the games are getting too graphic and FPS heavy? What should be the minimum amount of RAM. HDD, CPU and graphic card we should buy, considering games coming out these days and for the future and what about going for a console instead of a laptop/PC?

I don't have much experience with gaming laptops. However I think any good brand like Asus ROG laptops or Alienware with Gtx 1070 or equivalent should be good enough to run games on max settings at 2k resolutions.
For gaming PC however you should at least get Gtx 1060 or RX 580 for max settings at ultra.
For HDD, get an SSD for Windows drive and keep games in HDD of 2TB or more capacity. Games nowadays are almost 100gb in size so if you like to have multiple titles installed at a time, a large hard drive is a must.
As for consoles, they cost less than gaming PC. If you like to purchase games as opposed to what most of us Pakis do, then it will be expensive.

You didn't say anything about RAM and CPU and also what motherboard should we get IIRC not all motherboards can handle the high graphics cards.

8 GB is good enough if you just run games. However you'll find more and more people recommending at least 16 GBs if you want to multitask efficiently. Do you like having multiple tabs of chrome open, along with discord, a word document, steam and your game running? Get 16gigs, otherwise, 8.
For laptops, you want to avoid any and all CPUs with -U or -Y suffix as they are supposed to be power-efficient at the cost of performance. If you're buying a 100k+ laptop, you'll need an -HQ processor (preferably 8th gen). One thing to note that stuff like old Alienwares sell for a lot but their price isn't justified by their specs. You want to avoid those.
Idk where you heard about motherboards not being able to support GPUs. Supporting the GPU is the job of the PSU, not the motherboard. Any motherboard with PCIe 3.0 will handle GPUs just fine. Motherboards can however, be limited when it comes to overclocking CPU (and to a lesser extent, GPU).
Another thing to note is that some laptops have Max-Q graphics (1060 Max-Q or 1070 Max-Q). This means that their performance is lower than a vanilla mobile 1060 or 1070, but they are a lot more power efficient. And tbh I'd recommend getting something with a 1070 Max-Q instead of regular 1070. The battery timing difference is huge.

Overclocking is the action of increasing a component's clock rate, running it at a higher speed than it was designed to run. This increases overall performance but also increases the heat output. This usually applies to the CPU or GPU of the pc.

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!
