Playstation Gears of War style third person mod for UT3 PS3 discovered

UT 3 in 3rd person Just like Gears of War

If you are like me and think Unreal Tournament is good maybe even great, but would like it to be 3rd person, becuase you arent that good in 1st person, I have got some good news for you!

I did a little research and found out that there are 3rd person mods out there on the PC and EPIC can have them cooked for the Playstation 3, the only thing you have to do is make some threads requesting Anubans Fav Mutator Pack. if you want some more go to the following thread:

and just keep telling Epic that you would like them to cook Anubans Fav Mutator Pack.

the gears of wars comparison is a general viewpoint comparison. Stop trying to troll different games.



@inferno, its just a mod that adds several new options etc into the game, one of them being the third person view mode.


and no we don't know how much or if any impact it will have on any performance of the game.

like you know anything about gears or unreal or mods

unreal is fast and relies more on room than open combat, 3rd person = breaks gamplay, cheating (better view around corners) screwed up crosshair and shooting, disorientating turns etc etc

besides even the epic-ported mods which are just maps are crashing on ps3! this was obvious from the start, mods require more memory and the memory in ps3 is fixed.

I don't see why people would want it to be third person, your character is in the way of your vision and that's the only thing it really adds, a rear view of your bum, I can understand why Tomb Raider is third person, but UT3? No thanks.

Have played and still playing GOW online and i loved it.
And when UT3 considered third person it should like GOW with different weapons and a bit different gameplay.
