Best thing is you don't have to buy the hard copy of book its available on this link by author in Web version.
All example code is in C++, easy to understand.

Hi are you refering to me?

Well the author is just showing examples in plain C++ (those are also not complete to copy paste and work).
The design patterns can be applied to any IDE or programming language.
Since, they are about structuring and organising your code in a good way.

I personally work on
C# Visual Studio (Unity3D)
Java (Eclipse)
C++ (CLion Jetbrains)

In case you need some examples.

As its about game programming patterns, most of the examples I have gone through are in Unity.

EDIT: Visio kind of tool @ I read your question again, if you are refering to the diagrams that author made. I have no idea about that, but looks like a hand drawing :D
