Salam guys. I need ur help. Guys i am using galaxy s3 now. And it feel lag some times. Now i wana change handset. Willing 2 buy Sony Xperia Z. Dont wana buy s4. So can u guys suggest and tell me about xperia z. Thanks

SIII's a quad-core set, why the hell are you feeling the lag? The lag must be because of the limited 1GB RAM.

And yes, SIV has lag too *cue suspenseful music*. Tried a set right out of the box.

Xperia Z is one hell of a phone. Just holding that beauty in your hands reminds you of the better days when cellphones were all about build quality and not flashy gimmicks. The TFT display can be a turn down for many, but the camera in my books beats SIV's and ofcourse, this baby can dive to a depth of 1M for half an hour while still retaining the function.

There's a common misconception that since the phone's built to be waterproof the speaker's sound is also blocked and low. That's not the case, the speaker works fine, loud and perfectly.

What sort of lag? Try rooting and installing a good debloated custom rom. I experience no lag on my s3 even with 1gb ram except the dialer problem.

s3's roms are pretty bad... they all lag... only the original ics one does not lag... all the jelly bean ones lag and what not...

anyhow... xperia Z is good but its screen is not that impressive event though it is 1080p...

@the guy above me, the screen is not impressive? What? It just has bad viewing angles, but the screen looks spectacular when you look at it head on (the way it's supposed to be).

yeah i saw the comparisons. yes the 4UP camera isnt as good as htc said but i does the job. Plus ive heard that they have released a new update that really improves the picture quality. Since the OP has been using a an s3 and has been complaining about lag the htc one seems the best choice (brilliant screen , build quality and performance). But the xperia z is a good option aswell but i think he might find the screen disappointing after using an s3 no?

SAMOLEDs have ruined our thinking for TFT screens. Heck Samsung is using TFT screens for it's MEGA series :/

And like [MENTION=8258]R3Z0N[/MENTION] said previously, the screen is beautiful head on and I can vouch for that myself, only the viewing angles could be a tiny problem.

Wait for the HTC one to get cheaper, xperia Z is really not as good as people seem to think it is. The screen has okay colors, bad contrast and terrible viewing angles. Xperia P and S have a better screen than xperia Z lol.

HTC one on the other hand is a pretty good upgrade over the S3, dont be fooled by the camera megapixel it has its own unique abilities like great night capture and its also good at capturing fast moving objects.

I also own an s3. I would advice u to wait for the next gen phones as htc one, s4, xperia z or not worthy enough of an upgrade in my opinion. I will wait for the note 3,nexus 5 etc. The s3 is pretty good. To solve the dialer problem, download exdialer from playstore. It is the best dialer I have used on android. To solve animations lag, go to settngs>developer options and change the windows animation scale and transition animation scale to 0.5x. You can also try a custom rom.

That's true.But,Rooting and installing custom rom will void the warranty of the phone.

It can be easily unrooted and reset to stock.
