And what makes you say and assume so... It is quite clear from all these reports that Microsoft id planning something big. There was no ban hammer this time and it's impact was minimal then Microsoft got another shame when their recently released A.P 2.5 was deactivated in barely a week.

Yar,i have a jtag console.ANd i heard the new games arent working on Jtag without some kind of update and if u update the set,it will get brick.

All right folks, it's time to prepare yourselves for some dark hours, the new firmware is at hand and here's the first big blow.

We tested the new Beta Dashboard 2.0.13141.0 and can confirm that all games that are NOT AP2.5 patched fail to boot to a black screen (Previous LT+ Non-AP2.5 symptoms) – there is still a lot more testing on really old games (Pre Fifa 09) so we will keep you posted.

So (as suspected) AP2.5 will be activated across the board once the new dash is released, and also as suspected, LT+ has shown to still work by protecting the system from a flag and bypassing the AP2.5 check. (Naturally we expect the AP2.5 checks to get harder and deeper so this is just the beginning)

C4E has confirmed that there WILL be a public method to rip your own AP2.5 data from titles thanks to all the new AP2.5 Table information that was discovered a few weeks back

All games new and old will need to be patched with AP 2.5 now .. so yeah you soft modders, and those still on non LT+ 360's, get cracking .. faizy is about to become a lot richer lol.

Shit man that sucks balls. Now i will have to update to LT+ anyway. The only reason i didn't really do it before was because AP 2.5 check is just on a few games right now and i don't play Black ops or MW2 online.

Only reason i've been playing Reach online safely is because i have its original copy.

There are bigger problems. Fake or real I do not know, but the new xbox 360 dash update is even affecting the drive fw. It seems we can't even read the news for fw now as per some people at the Team-Xecuter forums...

why is everyone worrying so much no one cares about the new updates anymore coz c4e is still there and trust me he is the best guy out there who knows how to counter these updates well as far as i know microsoft will launch a new update when gears of war 3 and modern warfare 3 are out so the new xbox dash update will come on october or november 2011 and c4e already said that he will launch a new firmware when the new update is here so everyone relax.

^ because even if you don't update your console through XBL, the new games will have the update built-in on the disc itself. Once you fire up the game, it will prompt you to update or you can't play the game.

That seems the case but we can't be sure until the said update actually hits or C4E tells us otherwise.
