First Job. Networking, parchi or cold calling?

Hello everyone! I'm back to Pakistan and PG after a long while

This is to all those PGers who are working, how did you go about securing your first job? Apart from the usual channels like parchi or applying online, what methods work, what doesn't, any advice for someone just starting off?

I'd love to hear your experiences in things like:

1) Reaching out to people on LinkedIn.
2) Cold calling or cold emailing? Is it even culturally acceptable here or not?
3) Getting a job through parchi, good idea or not, any hidden disadvantages or anything else
4) Head hunters and recruitment agencies, is that even a thing here?

Experiences related to the financial sector would be doubly helpful.

Currently done with my sophomore year, many of my friends got internships through parchis or via legacy, Next year i plan to search for internships but i'm not that optimistic about internships since i've been moonlighting on internet which earns me a good money, more than any 6 week internship could offer.

Also i've all E-experience like creating a site, marketing it, placing ads strategically, converting visitors into cash etc, i know more about computers apart from coding than an average CS graduate, I don't know if should write this stuff in my CV when applying for internships next year or are internships based on ur GPA.

well im not in the market yet, but my cousin is a hr mgr at a large software house in lahore.

he is the first linkedin success story i know. he told me he used to post articles related to his field on linkedin regularly, connected with other hr professionals and made posts in groups. when he applied, he was selected based on his linkedin profile (ranked 2nd or 3rd Pakistani in HR field) so definitely make a good impression on linkedin

instead of cold calling try to connect with hr professional, my cousin told me they have their own whatsapp group to share vacancies internally and find a person based on personal recommendation instead of advertising
