Okay so i placed my order on 17th Arpil '09 and after a few days i was told to do manual verification of the Credit Card, in which i had to provide a picture front and back of the C.C. and a photo/signature identification on the C.C. holder [i took a picture of my moms passport(the page with the picture and signature), since i used her credit card (1) ]

So verification was done, my order got shipped on 4th May '09, and recieved it today at 12:30pm :D

Here are some pictures :

And yea if anyone want to use the coupon code, you are free to do so(on a 50$ purchase that is :p
Code : XD - INY - QRG

Even though the reciept at the front says " Handle With Care ", it seems like someone puched the box !!

PROBLEM :

I have plugged it into a plasma tv, i do get picture but there is no sound :frown:
Any help would be appreciated
and here is the link for the tele' : http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/home_av/tvs/0,39037588,39092320p-2,00.htm

To all the playaisa buyers, Do they ALWAYS require cc verification etc ?
Out of my 4 purchases, 3 times they've asked for it. Didn't the last time though. I just send'em the mail I sent the first time with scans of my license and card with the number part deleted 'cept for the 4 digits.

Its pretty common these days, to avoid internet frauds, they ask for photo id and front side copy of card to verify first and last 4 digits of credit card and name.......

can somebody answer my question in the above post?

^^ LOL .So what? .. i just wanted to share it with everyone. Got any problems -_-

And anyone got a solution to my problem ?? (read in 1st post)

Yes.

LG's chutiapay k plamas DO NOT support audio with HDMI. You have to give the stereo input (the small audio jack beside the HDMI port) along with the hdmi.

^ I can see those Pakistan Studies past papers in the pic ;)

LOL !! Nice catch there vyrus .. reminds me of a certain time ;) .. btw, I got an A in Pakistan Studies (1)

EDIT: @JiNXd, about your audio problem ... it would help if you could explain it in a little more detail ...

Got some Qs for ya:

1) Exactly which two devices are you connecting via this HDMI cable ?
2) Have you tried playing around with the Audio settings ? .. HDMI cables have their specific audio output types .. most devices automatically set this parameter, but maybe you should manually try them out ..

I had a similar problem about two weeks ago with my PS3 .. The problem was that I was getting sound in the XMB (like the main menu of the PS3), but there was no sound when I played a game ... The trick to get the sound back was to go into the game, then take out the HDMI cable, and then plug it back it .. somehow it got the audio back, till the next time I tried playing a game .. then I would repeat this same thing .. weird

Anyways, in the end it just solved itself .. I started getting sound in-game too, without doing any extra unplugging/plugging ..

Try turning on some music on the device (e.g. a PS3 or 360), then take out the HDMI cable from the TV/LCD end, and then plug it back in .. see if you get the audio this way ..
