Is it really so far fetched and unreasonable a thought to think there might be TWO summons in the demo? two.... TWO!?!?! Holy shit man, you're right, There's no way that could ever happen. I must be losing it :tv:

Anywho, yeah the summon was pretty cool. :p

Actually there was originally a different summon compared to Ramuh. I am talking about the Titan summon for the demo. The only reason they removed it was because he was an important part of the story for the game and the demo is basically an optional part of the game, which won't be included in the final version. They just made their own main sidequest for the demo and developed the Duscae region accordingly. It is actually very different from the final version in term of geometry. Ramuh was the choice of summon as he has no importance in the game's story compared to Leviathan, Titan and Shiva.

So the way we get Ramuh in the demo might not be the same way in the final version. Infact to get Summons in the game, we either have to fight them head to head (like the Titan summon in Jump Festa trailer) or acquire them through other sidequests (like Ramuh in the demo).

speaking of final fantasy, apparently the patch that makes Type 0 PSP work as a Remaster on PS3 with the English translation has been released, gonna see if i can get it working :p

the translation is probably gonna be better than the square enix localization anyway heh

^^You're better off playing it that way, The PS4 port has some fucking atrocious motion blur attached to the camera movements.

Yeah, I don't get why some developers still use camera-based motion blur. It gives me a headache.

Per-object motion blur is the way to go, but it's more taxing and probably not feasible for a game that was originally designed for the PSP.

ah, so i get to experience the SUPERIOR version of Type 0 HD ? :p
lol thankfully, I managed to grab the FFXV demo from a seller on ebay (via a friend) without having to get Type-0.

good enough for me :D
Not really, lol.

Type-0 on PSP had atrocious camera. The PS4 version has motion blur but camera has been greatly improved. You are actually playing the worse version.

The translation is also pretty damn good, compared to XIII and LR.

As someone who played the translated PSP version to completion, I can assure you, the camera in that game is perfectly fine.

You think this is fine? Come on man.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD: Camera Modifications (720p)

There was a reason the developer had to improve the camera because of all the complaints about how it was in the PSP verison of the game. Yet the camera sucked. I can't even begin to imagine how it might have worked on the PSP *shrugs*

Dude, I played the game for 20+ hours, never had any major problems with the camera, Most of the time during combat you'll be using lock ons anyways, I remember being a little annoyed by the camera during one of the early boss fights but once I got used to it, it wasn't much of a problem. TBH I think I'd have more trouble getting used to all the motion blur in the PS4 version than I did with the PSP controls.

That problem is less with the motion blur and more with how fast the camera is. Since it was a handheld game, the camera controls are just not as fluid and they move too fast, which couple with the motion blur, can cause issues.

You have no idea how much people complained about the old camera system and if you were fine with it, then you should be perfectly fine with the PS4/XBO verison as well.

^^The thing is, I don't really needs the PS4/XBO version. as far as Type-0 is concerned, playing through that game once was enough for me. I don't know what other people thought about the camera, I'm just saying that personally I thought it was OK. On the other hand looking at the PS4 version and all that motion blur on the camera looked kinda shitty. Maybe it'd look better if I were seeing it directly instead of on a video but like I said I don't really need to :p

To be honest, there is no need for the PS4/XBO version if you already played the PSP version, so I am not forcing you to play them :p

The game was perfectly fine on PSP and the HD release has some eye candy but that's all. I do have to say that I am really enjoying Type-0 HD and this might be my second FF game after XIII-2, as I could never managed to finish Lightning Returns.

gasp, ur telling me a PS4 can do better graphics than a PSP :p
I am just telling you how much effort has been made in this HD release :p

Hexadrive did this port and they have also ran Okami at 4k resolution on PS3 ;). They are better than Bluepoint Games.

Nooo i very much disagree, BP are the king of HR Remasters IMO. Okami is an extremely simplistic game. Hexadrive gets kudos for fixing Zone of the Enders on PS3, but BP's conversions are a league beyond.

Playing MGS3 with a solid 60 FPS and and 720p with AA makes it look better than a lot of native PS3/360 games, including MGS4, especially in the IQ department.

also, they completely redrew all the environments for Type 0, someone pointed it out on GAF but the PSP version is dark and gritty, actually looks like a shitty war, while the new version is very bright and colorful. I prefer the older look.
