had to be one of the most boring regulation time games of the World Cup, but the Extra time to follow was just electrifying.... Costa Rica suddenly carving out a couple of chances right at the end, and Sneijder rattling the crossbar.... another masterstroke of a substitution from Van Gaal.... and the penalties were clinical....
over the course of the entire game, i feel the Dutch heavily deserved to win.... Costa Rica may have performed in the group stages, but i just didnt feel it from them today.... offered nothing at all

Though good work by Krul. A big gamble by Gaal but krul proved it to be Genius the way he was coming forward to every opponent before the kick to make them nervous.

haha yeah, i can't really recall another goalkeeper doing something like this.... we see the jumping around, the flailing arms and such, but i've never seen a goalkeeper walk up to each player as they come up to take the penalty and talk shit to them
must be annoying as fuck in that tense predicament

BTW Keylor Navas really brought his A game today made 20 stops from 22 shots on target and kept Costa Rica in it till the end and he might just have taken them to the Semis had it not been 4 perfect penalties in a row from the Dutch

Krul is taller than Cillessen and has a greater reach, Van Gaal said in a post-match interview. The decision to substitute the GK was a perfectly logical one imo.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
