So received a call from Fiberlink today, telling me that there is going to be another month delay in my deployment and the next date is October 21st. This is absolutely ridiculous. I paid at the end of July. This is probably the most horrible service we have available in the country. They have no regard for the customers. But then again whatelse do we have? Looks like I'll be waiting another month over this.

Pppoe disconnected after 1 day and 2 hours(26 hours), but reconnects after 3-5 mins. Does this happen to you/anybody else on FL or only me? Secondly fiber cable is connected to modem via box not directly . I said to whatsapp support to connect it directly to modem. He said it will charge 500rs. Is it true?

By box you mean black rectangle patch cord housing? Most if not all Fiber Optic connections are installed that way.
And any electrical surge can trigger a disconnect too so it can be many things , your modem its adapter or anything in between.

I was always able to access it. But I had my device changed in between for a few days which had some issues so I got it changed back to another one which had the panel open.

Hi there. I stumbled upon this thread while searching for FTTH services in Rawalpindi. Thread is too long so pardon me if the following has been answered. I just wanted to know if FiberLink or Transworld offer their services in Rawalpindi. This is 2017 and I am still stuck on PTCL and their crappy and overpriced services. Nayatel is an option but they have datacap during the day so its useless for me. I want a consistent, low-ping connection with speeds upwards of 30mbps and no datacap. any suggestions will be appreciated.
PS: I live in Chaklala Scheme 3 if it matters.

I know external thick cable and internal thin black cable are connected by box. But cable that is connected to modem is also connected by box( not directly )which occupies space and looks annoying too.
Electrical surge will be on their side, cant be on my side. Only pppoe disconnects, green light remains stable and every other thing remains connected.

Call thier Helpline and ask them to monitor your line and why it's loosing PPPoE connection. It might be from thier end.
Hello there Pakgamers. Well here's my query, I am shifting my residence to Faisal Town Block C (Lahore) from Garden Town Tariq Block. I'm currently using StormFiber 20mbps and it has served e really well for almost a year but unfortunately, they aren't offering there services in Faisal Town C Block.
Now should I opt for FiberLink?? How much time do they really take for the installation cuz StormFiber guys installed it in 10 days.
If current users are having issues and problems with FiberLink in adjacent areas of Lahore, then I will not avail their services and use Zong 4G only.
But if FiberLink guys have upped their game, then please recommend your thoughts.

Minimum 30 days but expect 2-3 months waiting time but once it's installed and working there's no better internet service than FiberLink in the country.
As far as installation time goes, what I can judge from this thread is that the current time period is somewhere between 3 and 4 months.
Quality depends on the area. You'd probably be connected through Johar Town which is a relatively stable area for Fiberlink.

Usman said SF will be available in Faisal Town in the first week of October. I'm waiting on them myself!
Edit: I get disconnections every week for multiple hours, and their customer service is honestly of no help.
If Usman has guaranteed that SF will be there in October, then for sure, I'll wait for SF. Thanks a lot for all the brothers who responded to the query.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
