and ugh i read you guys talking bout 75mb packages and 100mb packages

the max they have listed is 50mb..? whats up with that

They've upgraded the 50mb package to 100mb, the website hasn't been update.

I ordered 50mb connection on 18-5, its been 4 months now and my connection still hasn't been installed turns out that they took my order even though they dont have approval from canttorment (LHR)

are you satisfied by the uptime , speed and general pings ?
i will make it clear to them that if they can fullfill their 3-4 week commitment , only then i will pay them .

GUYS please use this software to check pings ? its for csgo mostly , but it would be a tremendous help if any of you fiberlink customers can get this small app , launch it and check pings , press the round refresh button to get updated pings a few times and post the screenshot!

I'm not really satisfied. My internet was down 2.5 days this billing month but it was because they had to replace a 300m wire near my house. Pings are so much better than PTCL and 100Mbps speeds are mouth watering so I can't really complain much. It's not great but it's better than everything else available in my area. That's all there is to it.

and if you get true to 100mbps speeds ! then i think its worth it , i easily upload and download hundreds of gbs a month , and this zong mbb has been a pain in the ass for its price

one more question , what are the uplink speeds for the 100mb connection ?

Pings to Singapore are usually 100-120ms but I've been getting over 200ms since last night.

Anyone still getting that weird browsing issue? I can't browse normally but download and pings are fine... Webpages takes years to load if i open a few of them together. Even changing the router didn't solve the issue.

oh my this is worse than zong or connect yellow , except for dubai maybe .

thanks allot bro , i guess fiberlink has ways to go when it comes to ping , or maybe there were downloads or other people using the net at the time ? dunno xD for a fiber service the pings are horrible

lol what exactly were you expecting? These are perfectly normal for Lahore (except for Singapore)

Europe as a whole seems consistent. Then again, I'm only able to compare it to PTCL, which really isn't much to show for :laugh1:

edit : quick question how long does it take you to download 1 gb during normal hours of 100mb? for me on zong if its performing well at 1.4mb/s it takes under 25 mins , or 35 mins during load times at 700-900kb/s

do peak hours degrade your service to the point of mere 3-4 mb connections ?

I get 250-300+ms ping to EU on PTCL lol. I haven't checked peak load speeds in a while. I'll run a torrent test today around 3PM.

Fiberlink also been having problems with Streaming etc. I've done loads of testing and have come to the conclusion that either Fiberlink or Transworld is limiting indivividual connections to 100-300KB/s even on my 100Mbps connection. Downloading anything via IDM limited to 1 connection gives 100-300KB/s. Of course opening up 8-16 connections improves the speeds considerably.

My bet is that this is a TW problem as Stormfiber customers are facing similar issues. We can only wait and see (and of course keep on complaining)
