Anything being acquired by either Facebook or Microsoft is a sad news indeed.

In other news, Telegram has the UI just like WhatsApp with no subscription fee and sometimes feels is more faster and responsive too.

WhatsApp takes like less than a second to send and deliver messages. How much faster can Telegram be?

I have experienced that message delivery on WhatsApp on a 3G connection sometimes takes more milliseconds than being on a WiFi connection. Rapid message sending also shows delay. Tried Telegram on 3G/H+ as well but wasn't faced with this problem.

Have you seen the FB Messenger app? It's one of the best IM clients on iOS.

Well, I'm not one of those big company haters (I don't hate facebook/MS/Google) but if this does happen, we might see Ads in Whatsapp which I'm totally NOT ok with.
