[h=1]Epic Games Store suffers outage alongside Fortnite’s big black hole event[/h]
PC players say they can’t log in to play other games
PC gamers are reporting problems with the Epic Games Store, saying that they can’t log in to the service to play titles through Epic’s launcher. According to Epic Games’ status page, its servers are experiencing a “minor service outage” and that the Epic Games Store is suffering from a “partial outage.” As for Fortnite, Epic’s flagship game, services like logins, matchmaking, and voice chat are experiencing an “anomaly.” Which is somewhat ironic, given that Fortnite Battle Royale isn’t playable right now by design. A cataclysmic event occurred in the game around 2 p.m. ET, during which a black hole absorbed the entire Fortnite Battle Royale island map, leaving nothing behind. Players logging into the game will only see a black hole at the center of their screen. On Twitter, Epic Games acknowledged the outage. “We are aware that some folks are unable to login to the Epic Games launcher and are working on getting the service back to normal,” the company said. “As a work around, you can elect to skip login to access games that don’t require you to be online.”
The outage on the Epic Games Store is likely due to a crush of traffic for Fortnite, as players dive in to check out the end of season 10. There’s no telling when Fortnite will return from its black hole vacation, but hopefully other services will be restored when things calm down.
EGS is offering 12 days of free games in celebration of The Game Awards
2019 has been an incredible year for games, and we look forward to a new year filled with great games from great devs, exclusively on the Epic Games Store! Get ready for 12 Days of Free Games during the Epic Games Store Holiday Sale starting December 19th!
I would've totally expected this attitude from Chandoo back in the day. "Meh who cares about all these old games I've already played and a bunch of indies I'm never gonna play". Times have changed though
I bought Division 2 to avail the second sticker. Went back and they changed the price of World War Z from $10 to $15. Still great offer and looking forward to free games in coming weeks.

The Epic Games Store’s first Holiday Sale is underway right now, and ends on Jan. 1, 2020 at this time. The digital storefront is also offering 12 days of free games, also beginning today, to entice people to check in every day of the sale.
During the 12 Days of Free Games, each game will be available only for 24 hours. But if claimed during that time, it’s yours to keep and play forever. The first title in the promotion is Into the Breach, which made No. 7 on our list of Games of the Year for 2018. Into the Breach is a turn-based strategy game with puzzle elements by Subset Games, the makers of FTL.

Big names and new releases on sale include Borderlands 3 for $36.99; Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for $49.79; Red Dead Redemption 2 for $47.99; Control for $40.19; The Outer Worlds for $44.99, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 for $14.99 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint for $23.99. Many more titles from Ubisoft’s back catalog are also on sale. Additionally, Epic is offering everyone a $10 discount, and if they use it to buy from a list of eligible games, they’ll get another $10 coupon good toward anything. “Eligible games,” for the first coupon, means anything that is $14.99 or more, excluding pre-orders, season passes, DLC or other in-game purchases (basically, a full title costing $14.99 or more).
no idea how that is a steal by wasting 3500 rupees per month and for games that are removed before you can finish them off.xbox gamepass is garbage with no local prices

Just finished Diablo 4 season in hurry to play Fallout 4 but gamepass released another banger in the form of Star Wars on April 25th. Gamepass is a steal man.
Is it just me or people lately seem to defend every bad game design decision made by the devs and try to give bullshit reasons for that? Or perhaps it's because I'm on reddit and discord
