Karachi, Pakistan
Copy-pasta from some Facebook comment; makes perfect sense.
Does this make any sense to you?

NA-246 - Karachi
  1. Nabil Gabool (MQM): 180,000
  2. Naseem (Jamat-i-Islami): 7000

Total votes cast in 10 hours = 187,000

Votes cast in 1 hour or 60 minutes = 1/10 x 187 000 = 18,700
Votes cast in 1 minute or 60 seconds = 1/60 x 18 700 = 312
Votes cast in 1 second = 1/60 x 312 = 5

How on earth are people casting 5 votes per second? Does NA-246 has some advanced voting technology that nobody else in the world knows about?

Miltiary rule. ya aik PATRIOT caretaker backed by Army. yehi aik hal hai.

ya to election dobara saaf or shaffaf karae jaaien Army ke saath.
Army's presence was needed inside the polling station as demanded by many Karachi based parties.

lolz... it is 20% and not 70%...what benifits are you talking about?? there is no loadshedding in karachi... come to lahore... there is no electricity here... if loadshedding goes down to 12 hours per day from 20 hours then zardari strikes another order to take it away and we dive back into the dark... you are impressed by a buss service?? ganjay took about 80% of the total provincial budget and put it all in this useless project(it did reduce traffic jams though) and gave the contracts to their own companies(even the buses are from turkey which are made in their own factories)... .anyhow, this country will get slightly better(alteast in punjab) after these ganjas come but no real improvement will come(sad for karachiites)
Not extremely sure. But I remember watching a talk show host in which I specifically remember hearing that Karachi contributed to 70% of the total economy. Not surprising....

Elections have been rigged in the worst possible way. Even in places where PTI had clear majorities, they lost.

Regardless of who won where, I am pleased that the democratic transition that many have been talking about was finally a success.

Yes, PTI wasn't able to make a huge impact in Punjab or Sindh but for a party with such new faces with little to no recognition to go from scratch to winning so many votes is quite commendable.

It's quite heartening to see PTI gaining majority in KPK. I would also like to congratulate the supporters of PML-N on this success.

So what if PTI didn't win this time around, there are still lots of positives one can derive from these elections. The record turnout was a massive success in my opinion, regardless of who benefited more from them.

If you are a PTI supporter, like me, you would continue to support your leader and his vision as he (hopefully) plays the role of a strong and effective opposition leader in Punjab while forming an efficient government in KPK.

I see Pakistan's fate changing for the better. With the democracy and media (Kudos to its role, by the way) maturing, slowly and gradually, I see Pakistan's fate changing for the better (InshAllah).

Pakistan Zindabad!

Democracy in a illiterate country is such joke.

We have to live with the decisions of the dumb of Punjab.

My Teacher just updated his FB status and he is so right . Quran says and I quote loosely ' Kya kbhi aqal walay aur jahil brabar hoskte hain??'

Sindh wale bhaiyon phirse Qaim Ali Shah aur Ishrat ul Ibad (lmao) bardasht karen.

[h=5]Just a thought : I so wish that the right to vote shouldn't be equal to everyone. It should have certain difference in Weightage between Educated and Un-Educated people. This would not only minimize the troubles occurring from problems of illiteracy but also instill a need to pursue education amongst the people in order to get proper Voting rights.[/h]

Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
