Alright so, played it for a while.

The performance although disappointing in general, all souls fans from consoles are used to this. I adjusted to it almost immediately.

Everything else is top shelf! The stealth mechanics, the open worldness of it all. Its great.

People new to the souls games will still find it challenging, so there is that!

You will either absolutely Love it or hate it with a passion!

Apparently, you can make the game more approachable/easier if you focus on open-world exploration and upgrade your stats/weapons based on what you find - something not available (aside from soul farming) in previous games. So perhaps more people can play and have fun in this one. I would like to try it at some point.

Oh so you started of as a Samurai right ? I havent started the game as of yet but went through the traits of the starting characters. Samurai and Confessor are 2 of my shortlisted character clasess. I might just go through with confessor since i want a hybrid (melee + magic) build.

Game is extremely easy once you explore a bit, prioritize exploration at the very start. Light as many bonfires as you can.

The new summon feature should help all the offline lonewolfs too, this game is most accessible in the series.

Bloodborne was still worse. It never ran above 30fps and frame pacing was never consistent

Started playing a little while ago. Yeah, the game's really easy so far. Beat this Tree Sentinel goof on the third attempt. His pattern is easy to follow and he's way too vulnerable after some of his attacks lol.

So far, It is the easiest From Soft. Game in all of them in how it makes the boss runs streamlined by placing the "bonfire" right next to the boss area.
