This year Eid is coming on Thursday (Aug 08, 2013). Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on the 1st day of the month of Shawwal. Eid is a day of joy and happiness for the Mustlims. It is the reward of fasting in Ramadan. Sadaqat-ul-Fitr or Fitrana is given to poorer people of society. What are you going to do especial on this Eid?

Eid is boring for me as well.

It used to be quite fun a few years ago. But I think that these 3 days go past so quickly nowadays that I can't enjoy them properly.

All cousins are into iPads and mobiles and TVs nowadays that we don't get to have a PROPER reunion. Add to that our parents and uncles getting old that they don't have the energy to get together like they used to a few years ago. The last good Eid I remember was 4 years back.

Now there is just too much pressure. Some cousins have gotten married. Some have gone to UK, some to Saudia. Some are busy in their studies (me included). I bet this Eid would be the saddest and most isolated one for me. :'(
I think it would be best for me to enjoy this Eid with my friends, rather than family.

Eid isn't like how it used to be anymore.

I have my result on 13th August so Eid will be a day on which I will try to forget that.

I will spend my whole Eid day on pc (after saying the prayer off course) because planning to buy a gpu for myself & then can't wait to play (Witcher 2, Far Cry 3, Call of Juarez Gunslinger, Mafia 2, Prototype 2, Elder Scroll) plus currently downloading many more now (bm)
