No cybernetic punks looks like.
I'm sure it would have won if there were any gamer choice awards...but wait, gamers responded to the trailer with a barrage of homophobia. No wins for The Last of Us Part 2 so far. In fact, several prominent websites didn't even choose it as a finalist/nominee. On the other hand, Control and Spider-Man did relatively better.
thats exactly what happens when the only wow value ur offering is 5 sec awkwardness that has no place in a trailer @Journeys End @NaNoW : No wins for The Last of Us Part 2 so far. Best of E3 2018 – Day 5: Game of Show | Hardcore Gamer | Winner: Cyberpunk 2077After years of speculation, we've finally got our first proper look at Cyberpunk 2077. And it somehow surpassed our wildest expectations.
This is an unusually tough Game of the Show to justify because the extent of what you've personally seen is limited to what's in that trailer three paragraphs up. Cyberpunk 2077's E3 demo was strictly limited to industry/business folks, press, and influencers. So you'll just have to trust us for now when we say that it was extremely impressive. Cyberpunk 2077 had everyone buzzing for a very good reason.
Gamereactors Game of the Show: E3 2018 - - Gamereactor | Winner: Cyberpunk 2077Finally, at the show, CD Projekt Red gave media and fans a look at Cyperpunk 2077 and it blew away expectations. The developer’s dark take on humanity’s future featured fast-paced gameplay, a full suite of RPG mechanics and a stunning presentation.
@SolitarySoldier : The forth coming Game Critics Awards for E3 will provide the competition some much needed relief. Games without hands-on playable demos are disqualified. In the past they've disqualified games like Witcher 3, God of War, Phantom Pain, Shadow of the Colussus. So Cyberpunk 2077 won't be there. Unfortunately for you, that also disqualifies the likes of The Last of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima as well. In such a scenario, Spider-Man and maybe Resident Evil 2 have good chances of winning there. (Not sure if hands-on demo was available for Control). It may only be shown in playable form behind closed doors, but the total 50 minute demonstration of Cyberpunk 2077 as CD Project RED showed up during the show left the audience with jaw railing down the ankles.
It may well be a very long time for the actual release and CD Project RED was smart enough not to touch the topic of when to expect the game, but after what we saw, it seems to be something special when one day lands.
right because if a game doesn't sweep the E3 game award... everything else is a fail.....and its all black and white, and gaming industry is built around 1 game and 1 game onlythats exactly what happens when the only wow value ur offering is 5 sec awkwardness that has no place in a trailer
even the diehard fanboys lost this time

That's better but I think games with public demos should be included because the audience can see how these games play even if can't play a live demo themselves. Of course, at this point we are assuming that the final game will more or less have the gameplay elements presented in the demo. whats with the extreme defensiveness and extreme interpretations of my posts by u guys? TLOU2 fanboys are the craziest fanboys in recent history :lol:right because if a game doesn't sweep the E3 game award... everything else is a fail.....and its all black and white, and gaming industry is built around 1 game and 1 game only
so if cyberpunk has been so well received, it automatically means TLOU 2 is absolute garbage and their dev team should jump off a bridge..../s

Well, one thing TLoU II "fanboys" have done is defend it against homophobes. If this is defensiveness and "crazy" instead of being a homophobe and dismissing a game because of that, then we have nothing to talk about. More people are talking about this than the actual game and that's because of the defensiveness of YOUR camp since we don't have a problem with it. As for the game itself, we have only seen a gameplay demo which was generally praised by critics and gamers alike. There are doubts about whether what was shown in terms of realistic AI, animations, etc., would be a part of the final game. Druckman has said that all of it is more or less the real time gameplay based on their new engine. Anything further on the legitimacy of the demo can't be said until we see more or until the game is released. If it turns out to be crafted specifically for E3, I'll join you in attacking ND.whats with the extreme defensiveness and extreme interpretations of my posts by u guys? i don't remember saying anything like TLOU2 is garbage or ND is the worst game dev in the history of game devs. you guys should really take a chill pill, learn to accept that world does not revolve around TLOU and ND can make publicity mistakes or average game.
matlab ab intna bhi na uthao ND kay pls
This was a complete exaggeration..thats exactly what happens when the only wow value ur offering is 5 sec awkwardness that has no place in a trailer

TLoU AI didn't live upto its E3 demo. But the animation technology shown here isn't new, or even the first time being implemented in a game. Ubisoft showcased Motion Matching animation system nearly 2 years ago. There are doubts about whether what was shown in terms of realistic AI, animations, etc., would be a part of the final game. That's okay; it doesn't have to be new. The point is that the cut scene like animations in TLoU II gameplay looked too realistic and amazing. TLoU animations in general (not the enemy AI) were good anyway and TLoU II shows a lot of improvements over that. Now the only question is whether we'll see all this in the final game given the TLoU E3 demo debacle. We wait and see.TLoU AI didn't live upto its E3 demo. For Honor features a similar animation system:
I was suggesting that having already seen motion matching in For Honor on current-gen systems, such advancements aren't unrealistic to achieve anymore. The AI is a whole different story though. Now the only question is whether we'll see all this in the final game given the TLoU E3 demo debacle. We wait and see.
bro i really don't care what ur stance is on this LGBT thing. we really don't have anything to discuss on that subjectWell, one thing TLoU II "fanboys" have done is defend it against homophobes. ur going to compare commercial success of ND with multiplatform big boys like R*? wow this discussion cant have logical direction with that attitudeYes, the world doesn't revolve around ND and TLoU but I'm not sure who is giving that impression. Your camp who thinks that there's nothing of value in TLoU except that 5 sec scene (defensiveness much?) or us who are just talking about what we have seen? As for ND making an average game, judging by the critical, user and commercial success, their games are as average as The Witcher 3, GTA V, God of War, etc. I think that's good enough.
