Dsl modems and Routers

i want to know some modems and routers with long range ability ,, Because when Micro net dsl Service came here they said the service is available so i applied for them after 12 days they came with a modem And it didn't work he told me to take a wireless router then this will work i said with no problems he said no some problems will be there . i disagreed ............ i called ptcl they said our dsl works fine 1 to 1.5 km then i asked my dad where is our main cabinet he said that the air distance is approx 1 or 2 km


So i want to know some modems which will be workable for me with cost LOL

1) Please use Fullstops !

2) DSL will work fine IFF the condition of ur line is good, i.e; there are few joints in between your home and the main dp, and the wire is not damaged in between. etc etc.

3) There is no problems with modems, all will give you the same speed , whether wireless or wired.

4) What was the last lol for ??!! LOL
