PC Dota 2 servers

I recently acquired a copy of DOTA 2 and I just wanted to ask which are the best servers in which I can play without lag/delay. My interent connection is 1MB(wi-tribe). Also one thing I noticed was that when I kept my DOTA 2 download overnight and then played at 6.30 am just to try the game after it finsihed downloading, it worked smoothly. But now I can harldy play without lag/delay. Is this a server problem or what?
Or will I have to upgrade my interent connection to hope for better gaming?

Anyways try pinging these servers and see what pings you get
Ping 146.66.152.1" EU West (Luxx.)
Ping 146.66.155.1" EU East
Ping 146.66.156.1" Russian (Stockholm)
Ping 103.28.54.1 SEA

Oh my mistake, I will direct my queries over there then. Btw my pings in the first three servers were 300-400 while the ping in the last one is 500+

not great pings but 300-400 is still close to playable. you will experience a very slight delay. Though I have finished now quite a few games with above 300 ping so I think you should be fine too.

No need to try them, just use the ping command using cmd and post your results to each server. Most (ptcl)users get a ping of 200-240 to atleast one of the servers.

Something's wrong at wi-tribe's end, pings to Eu DotA 2 servers is minimum 325ms, its normally 220-250ms+-. Don't know what the problem so can't say but normally its 220-250ms.

Ok, yesterday, I ticked only russian and european servers and though it took 5 minutes to find a match, I finally managed to play widout lag and delay.

But my ping is still above 300ms but since I have no more lag, I have no issue whatsoever. Thanks all.

My pings in EU, either East or West never exceed above 200-210.

The highest ping at one time that i did get on these servers was around 270.

So its just your connection i'd say.

I'd say that you get a fixed line connection and not play on wireless, which has a tendency to cause lags/delays.

You might wana try US east as well. Yes, this does sound weird but some of us get between 200-250 pings from there.
