Display Problem with GPU

today i was playing game on my pc suddenly pc hangs up n screen blanks .... i restart the system ... system powers on but no display then check GPU its getting power fan is moving but no display so i did the following measures
> Change the DVI port from 2 to 1
> Remove the card n put back again but same issue....
i checked system is logging in to windows but no display so any help ?

run pc without gpu and check if it give display...change places of rams.

you overclocked your processor to 3.2ghz may be this is the problem. first do what faheem says then also clear Cmos switch and report back

REMOVE GPU and RAMS. Turn ON pc.

Does it give beeps (provided the pc speaker/buzzer is connected to the board) indicating no rams in slots ?

guys Maximus II formula dont have any onboard vga..... and i removed rams but no beep ...hit the clr_cmos n then power on but still no display.... system is going in windows as the sound coming from speakers ...GPUs cooling fan is running but no display...

one more thing in the last GPU is there on the slot but i removed the 6pin connector n then power on the system it gives the beep.... but no beep on removing rams...

1. U hear the "welcome" sound when logon to windows u mean ? Secondly, don't remove the 6pin pcie connector from the gpu, it can damage it !

2. Try fitting the gpu in the second pci express slot and check for display ?

In any case there must be beep when u remove the rams.
Reconfirm the pc speaker (which produces beeps) is connected to motherboard.

3. Remove GPU and RAMS and check for beeps.

Yes i heard the welcome sound then after giving password windows logged in......n i tried the 2nd pci express slot but still no display .... n no beeps after removing GPU n RAMS...

Is it possible to try a different GPU just to confirm ? Could be GPU issue or motherboard from what I understand. Try a different gpu if possible. Removing Rams on the hand must have given beeps and failure to do so would indicate motherboard failure. Check with alternative working gpu and if no change then v ll pursue motherboard.

yeh but thnx for the help.... yesterday i check my cousin GPU on my system ....system is fine but my gpu is dead... ( ... so i am planing to Buy MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozer II next month Inshallah.......
