I tried doing that but found it extremely repetitious and boring, which is why I just play the crucible

TBH i didnt even care completing the story... Except for Earth all my story missions were completed only by playing the daily / weekly story missions, which is a random daily mission from the story itself... The last mission in which we get the stranger's rifle was also completed randomly and ididnt had a clue what was going on... There were some bounties not to long ago that required a mission that wasnt even showing up on my map since i hadnt completed the story so i had to go through the preceding mission in order to unlock that area and complete that bounty...

Mine is 119 hours to be exact.... This is by far the only game that i have played this much... Dont really know why i played this over and over and over again given that i hate playing through games more than once, even the ones that i really love....

Right now i want the want the VEX Myhthoclast and TLW or the HAwkmoon really bad... but before that i have got my eyes on the shadow price which will be mine in the next 2 days i guess.. saw some videos of SP on YT and i think its even better than suros....

Oh and thank you to RNGesus got my first exotic drop day before yesterday while playing crucible... i came in the very last and was amazed at what i actually got... Interestingly all decent rewards that i have had are mostly from crucible matches that too in the ones in which i have performed below par.

Woah! ICE BREAKER is tight shit man! The ammo regeneration can make life so easy, you can just stand in the corner and pick shots without worrying for ammo. It does about 15k damage to Atheon on normal, a fully upgraded Praedyth's Revenge (the raid sniper) does about 6k damage.

So yeah Ice Breaker is one hell of a gun! I have been waiting for Xur to sell this again.

Oh btw just a heads up, Destiny will by offline after 9pm tonite for us Paki folks....for some maintenance work.

The only reason I usually log on to Destiny sometimes is to fire the Ice Breaker on some really powerful knights and see them dissolve in one shot.

Also, I don't quite understand the Ice Breaker perk...my kills don't explode

Destiny's Iron Banner 2.0 is the focus of Bungie's latest Weekly Update post, along with new details revealing an upcoming voice chat channel coming next week for matchmade games.


In the first of several Destiny updates scheduled for this month, Destiny Update 1.0.3 introduces a beta test for the new opt-in voice channel feature for players using the game's matchmaking system. The new feature will hit Nov. 17, as an alternative to the game's current fireteam chat communication system which is currently used within pre-formed groups.



The upcoming team chat option will be available for any matchmade activities, including Strikes and team-based Crucible matches. You can check out the update in detail on the official Bungie blog.


Bungie also detailed what can be expected with the release of Iron Banner 2.0, wherein Lord Saladin is said to return to the Tower. As previously reported, the first Iron Banner drew complaints in part because high-level players weren't tough enough in it. This time around, Iron Banner will require a fireteam leader to be level 20, and while lower-level players may join the fun with a "chaperone," they will still find it tough sledding.


Additional information regarding The Dark Below expansion is expected to be revealed sometime next week. The expansion is slated to launch on Dec. 9 with new weapons, armor and bounty slots, as well as a raise to the Light level cap.

I am kinda amazed at what the community has developed for the game which has only been out for a couple months. Soon we shall see a wave of such games which will hit the surface later this year or early next year. Destiny has been revolutionary albeit being a bit of a disappointment, players are racking hours after hours in the game.

I'm actually keeping it for PVE purposes because it has slightly less stability than DYK. I'm consistently using DYK for small/midrange maps in PVP. This is because I only use blade dancer for pvp because I love blink jump and sticky nade too much. I switch to Gunslinger for pve, after which Fate Bringer becomes a dream because:

3x Gunslingers trance = ZERO recoil
3x Chain of Woe = Reload speed of less than 2 seconds.


Smooth as butter headshots. Quick as a butterfly reloads. Bliss.
