@Magma: Its totally your decision, I would tell you to buy Dark Souls over Batman but that would be kinda hypocritical cuz I myself am looking forward to Batman AC. Your going to have to make this choice on your own, the person recommending the game won't be playing the game, you will and there is a chance you could've enjoyed the other game more. Just ask yourself what you enjoy more, an old school Action/RPG or an Action/Adventure game.

I know this wasn't much help but don't buy a game just cuz more ppl recommended it. Buy a game which you have a higher amount of certainty that you will enjoy it

Dude you have a 360, i don't recommend piracy of games to anyone but just get both, i don't see the big deal.

As far as i'm concerned both are must-have titles, it's the same as asking Dark Souls or Skyrim. Anyone worth his salt should obviously buy both.

Dude I am playing both side by side. Dark Souls is a game that you are gonna be playing for a long long time so go slow with it or you might end up smashing your head or your controller against a wall Arkham City can have its long and blissful sessions once you realize how good it feels to be the Dark Knight after getting your ass whooped by the undead and the Black Knight in Dark Souls

Just play Arkham City 1st, you'll be done with it way before you'll be done playing Dark Souls

I m confused. I started out with 10 Estus Flasks in the game but now i am only left with 5. I even kindled 2 new bonfires but my flask count remained 10. What am I suppose to do? I cant beat this damn game with only 5 estsus flasks :S

Play Arkham City before you do anything else, Dark Souls is great but it's a very long game and requires patience and you'd be better off finishing off Arkham City first and then playing Dark Souls.

I dont understand. Did you kindle 2 new bonfires once each? If thats the case then you will only get 10 Estus Flasks, you need to have the Rite of Kindling to reach 15. There is lighting a fire and then there is kindeling. What did you do and elaborate carefully.

Yaar I kindled this new bonfire before entering the Darkroot Garden, the one above the black smith. Had five estus flasks but even after kindling the flame the count remained the same. Then i kindled another Bonfire thats just before the that Moonlight Butterfly boss in the Darkroot Garden, but all in vain. Do i have to be in human form to receive additional estus flasks or what??

So I've been playing this game a bit but I just noticed that my character is hallowed or something and doesn't look human at all, I tried doing the reverse harrowing thing at the bonfire but it says I have no humanity. Can somebody explain this to me?

Obviously you need to be in human form. You cannot kindle a bonfire when hollow. So you require 2 humanities, one for reverse hollowing and other for kindling bonfire.

You explained it yourself. You need humanity to turn human. Humanity can either be bought for 5k souls from a specific merchant, or you find plenty through out the course of the game.

You are confused mate. You can kindle bonfire even before obtaining the rite of kindling. When you do obtain it by killing boss in catacombs you can just upgrade the no. of estus flasks you get. Initially you get 5 (except firelink) if you kindle it you get 10. Obtain rite of kindling and then kindle you get 20.

The merchant only sells one humanity, you find it scattered throughout the loot in the game regularly.

The estus flask has a limit, the firelink shrine gives u 10, every other only gives u 5. the flasks dont stack, i honestly dont understand ur confusion it's pretty simple. u cant keep visiting bonfires and collecting flasks, if u rest at the firelink shrine and you have 2 flasks, it will replenish them to 10. If you rest at the other non-kindled bonfires it'll replenish them to 5 initially, you can kindle the fire to replenish your flasks to 10. After u get right of kindling in the game you can rekindle bonfire twice more to get a max of 20.

How much humanit do I need to become human? One of the flwas in this game is that this game doesn't tell you anything, It's one thing to not spoon feed the players but Dark Souls doesn't even properly explain basic game mechanics.
