Daraz.pk counterfeit scam

I recently bought a 64GV EVO SD card from Daraz.pk (Buy Samsung Samsung Class 10 EVO Micro SD Card - 64GB - Orange Online at Best Price in Pakistan | daraz.pk ) After putting it in my phone, some images didn't save. I tested it on PC and it shows it's a fake. On the SD card it says made on Taiwan (according to Google this means it's a fake).

I threw away the packaging. Daraz.pk are refusing to issue a refund. What should I do?

Selling counterfeit products is a criminal offence, whereby culprits can be prosecuted and punished to the extent of two years, a fine or both under Section 486 of Pakistan Penal Code.

Daraz is a big fraud. Ordered a product few days back and received a different product today.

No shop would claim warranty without the packaging. My experience with Daraz has been very good although they delivered wrong items ~3 times, they refund and let me keep it.

I have had no problems with daraz refunds including one expensive cell phone. As long as you follow the refund policy you should not have an issue.

Well.. since the box is gone, you'd still need proof of purchase to initiate a claim through consumer court if you want to go that way.

And yeah, same shitty experience here.
As well as those around me. Not the best site unless you're buying cheap stuff.

You have to get it done through a lawyer that handles the consumer cases.
But it does cost, unless theres no huge money involved, i suggest you keep trying and threatening daraz for not commiting to their policies.

there's no point about it, even if u buy from a shop you need packaging for warranty like nayatel installed a new ups they said you will need the box to claim warranty.

Also daraz doesn't has any of its own shop, its just a platform providing an online space to different sellers.

It seems hard, given when you use a courier service, you agree to their policies.
I dont know what can be done against their policy, but you might be able to sue them for being irresponsible with your expensive package.
Theres money involved ofc, and it all depends on how good of a lawyer you can get to help you.

Thats all I know.
