He did say "this run" so you not being able to comprehend that is your problem. 🤷‍♂️

If he did and didn't show it, that just sounds like an Oliver-problem, student :ROFLMAO:

All you need to know is your time in Dogtown is going to have significant traversal stutters, choom 🤜😆

Please tell Mr. Sawyer to become a part of the GDCA panel to make his voice heard 🤜

Imagine picking Cyberbug 2077 Phantom Liberty over Baldur's Gate 3 as your GOTY to spite your rival Larian Studios because they are better than you in every conceivable way :ROFLMAO:

Oliver's analysis makes it clear to me that all current-gen consoles are problematic 🤜 😆
The driving sections in the base game are a perfect 60 on PS5. That run shown in the video is a stress test path DF has used to test frame rate when driving in previous videos  🤜

Performance drops are there in non-driving sections across all consoles, but even there Cerny's console is less impacted. But why? Zen2 tou donon consoles mein hai, and PS5's cpu is clocked lower than that of Xbox Series X. So what's going on? 🤷‍♂️

Imagine CerebralTiger using Larian now to take a dig at CDPR and Obsidian. Fucking embarrassing turn of events after his wish to see them tarnished got tarnished by the Metascore and in the GoTY deliberations 🤜🤣

It's not the most stressful drive test path tho. 🤷‍♂️

They are reusing it for comparative differences between the patches which is the correct way to do a comparative analysis to keep the runs consistent. 🤷‍♂️

That, however, does not prove that the game will sustain a locked 60fps in other stressful scenarios given the varying nature of environment and NPC density, as well Time of day changes and weather changes 🤷‍♂️

For instance, there are several other stress test sequences related to driving and other market area segment where the consoles will struggle to handle the environmental density and NPCs on screen, esp in different weather conditions too, and you ain't even driving then. 🤷‍♂️🤣

Now imagine driving around Dogtown 🤷‍♂️ Oh wait, Oliver already covered how the game has significant traversal issues (on foot and driving) on all current gen consoles which CerebralTiger seems to be ignoring conveniently. Yikes 🤣

Wasn't it you who pointed out I gave Divinity: OS 2 a 9/10? Did the turn of events happen back in 2017?🤷‍♂️

Also, nobody tarnishes Nintendo. TOTK is receiving its fair share of GOTY awards, despite being called an expansion by Necrokiller and other ppl 🤜

Okay, then tell me why the PS5 is delivering a perfect 60 in this run while the Xbox Series X drops to 49 despite featuring a higher clocked Zen2 CPU? You said the bottleneck here is the CPU. Please explain, math teacher 🤜

For instance, there are several other stress test sequences related to driving
Since you know your way around Nighty CiTy, mark the stressful areas for driving on the map screen for the base game and I shall report back with VRR frame rate stats 🤜

That was a hilarious attempt at a "politically correct" review for a publication which doesn't align with your views here 🤷‍♂️ 🤣

*yawn* have had this on steam (for free) since launch, but couldn't make it past the half hour mark. The turn-based combat is so utterly boring. P&P RPGs are not for me. Only worthwhile things are the writing and dialogue.
How does someone review a game for a website as a "Top Critic" and give it a 9/10, and reveal later in 2018 that he couldn't even make past the half hour mark? Oh, its just the lying nature of CerebralTiger. That's how 🤷‍♂️ 🤣

Also, nobody tarnishes Nintendo. TOTK is receiving its fair share of GOTY awards
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Your "Tears of every other game in 2023" has been reduced to mere "fair share".

Lets not forget Super Mario Bros Wonder released this year as well. 2023 is just proving the trend that Nintendo fails in the face of stiff competition. Larian not only destroyed Zelda, but Mario as well. Yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiikes 🤜🤣

You said the bottleneck here is the CPU. Please explain, math teacher 🤜
Basically any time you are walking or driving through Dogtown - especially at speed - the game can't seem to quite keep up. I suspect that these issues are primarily related to CPU performance, given the game's performance profile on PC.
Oliver says its CPU bottlenecked too. Go ask him 🤷‍♂️🤣

Since you know your way around Nighty CiTy, mark the stressful areas for driving on the map screen for the base game
I don't have to. Digital Foundry has done that already. Go visit their GPU reviews 🤜🤣

I shall report back with VRR frame rate stats 🤜
ROFLMAOOOO! We need frame times, not VRR stats reported by a TV 🤣

Necrokiller doubting the integrity of an OC top critic :ROFLMAO:

BOTW wiped the floor with Divinity: OS in 2017, but TOTK is getting its fair share of recognition against BG3. Go figure 🤜

Oliver's comment was about Dogtown, which is a part of Phantom Liberty. Indeed, the CPU is the bottlebeck there, as there is higher crowd and environmental density in the area, as he mentioned. The GPU is likely also stressed, as the higher environmental density means more things need to be rendered when driving around Dogtown.

The base game driving run shown with a perfect 60 on PS5 and as low as 49 fps on Xbox Series X wasn't higlighted as a CPU bottlebeck, nor is it a GPU bottleneck. Both hardware components are superior on Xbox. So what's going on? Please explain 🤜

ROFLMAOOOO! We need frame times, not VRR stats reported by a TV 🤣
The idea is to see if PS5 can maintain a perfect 60 while driving around those areas. Frame times would be expected to vary from 16.67ms below 60 fps 🤷‍♂️

If only OpenCritic had verified your post history here. But we know better :ROFLMAO:

Go figure 🤜
Larian releases their first game on all platforms in the same year and it ends up wiping the floor with Zeldas and Marios with a sprinkle of Spider-Bug 2 and Lulz Fantasy XVI. Doesn't get better than that 🤜 :ROFLMAO:

Oh wait, it does. BG3 also won Best MP at TGA beating SF6. 🤜:ROFLMAO:

Its a matter of fact that BG3 is Larian's first game to release on all platforms in the same year. Its also a matter of fact that Larian destroyed 2 Nintendo flagship IPs in the same year. Its also a matter of fact that CerebralTiger has to find solace in his "fair share" of tears now :ROFLMAO:

As for Cyberpunk 2077, allow me to share one of CerebralTiger's fav critic's opinion on Phantom Liberty:

Once again, CD Projekt RED shows how an expansion should be done.
I can't think of another game that can match Dogtown's bustling markets and busy streets.
Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba deliver star power to the cast, but great incidental performances and intelligent choreography throughout make Cyberpunk a landmark achievement.
When the guns and katanas do come out, it's also a complex sandbox that brings together stealth, hacking, and first person shooter systems to chaotic effect.
And look, even Eurogamer realizes that Cyberpunk 2077 is the best implementation of FPP in a video game. This is one of the main reasons why it remains one of the most immersive games ever made 🤜

Cyberpunk made the bold decision to force you into a first-person perspective with a story that requires you to sit down and absorb a lot of exposition and banter.
This is a form of direction unique to video games, and it is realised wonderfully in Cyberpunk. That villainous Vaas monologue in Far Cry 3 has turned out to be a hugely influential moment, but instead of being lectured by a psychopath while stuck in a cage I'm driving around with Idris Elba and chatting with the President about thwarting assassination plots. It is hard to go back to other RPGs after playing Cyberpunk again.
Engage all you want, choom 🤷‍♂️

"Destroyed" isn't a word I'd use to indicate the difference in the certified awards tally between BG3 and TOTK  🤜

But I asked why a full RDNA2 capable machine is lagging behind one that isn't in base game performance 🤷‍♂️

Dumb AI stealth main detect bhi nahin hoti hai, plus stealth main grabbing bhi hugging hai.

Driving ka agar abhi aisa haal hai to ye patch se pehlay kya haal hoga?
Replayed the base game again with all the patches on PC (after first playing on XSX), and yep the game is as boring as it gets.

Driving is still abysmal.

Now playing Phantom Liberty and LOL at the performance issues including memory leaks. Seems like they just can't get anything right the first time.

Tried Doom Eternal's method of fixing FPS (that is set the graphics preset to low and then back to the desired one), it works for a bit here as well but the performance tanks again after a while, just tried riding a bike and everything was going OK so far up until V put his ass on the bike and WHAM! FPS dropping to below 30....

Before that, FPS hovered between 75-80 easily on everything maxed out except Path Tracing @ 1080p.
