Create a watermark + Apply to all photos?

A relatively new shutter-bug here, with some newbie questions

I was wondering what (a) the easiest method would be to design a simple watermark for my photos, and (b) apply it to all images (all at once, rather than one-by-one).

(Could someone here, a graphic designer preferably, be willing to design a very simple watermark for me?)

Photoshop "Action" and "Batch Processing" features are way to go!

well the easiest method i know of is to use Adobe Lightroom..simpler than photoshop i guess

Thank you everyone for the replies! Since I'm totally unfamiliar with PS, I think I'll try my hand with Lightroom (does it come with an apply-to-all feature?), or Visual Watermark.

if you are not familiar with photoshop then you can use software like these

i use Lightroom to apply my logo ....its very simple ....

Just an update: Applying a watermark in Lightroom was easier than I thought: import photos into lightroom, retouch, export, during which it gives you an option to apply watermark (along with a bunch of other stuff). Lightroom is a brilliant software btw, a must-have for shutterbugs!
