Hey guys, I have a Nayatel internet connection through a WLAN router (hope i said that right) and the connection speed is excellent. But I have a problem: even though all the laptops(3) in my home get excellent/smooth connectivity, my PC (which is situated closest to the router) DOES get connected, but anything HARDLY ever opens on it. Like, I'll switch on the computer, open the browser, go to a website, and it'll open. But then when i open up another link(even on the same website), it will just be loading forever and never open. I hope you get me. And if it helps, i use the Dlink USB thing to catch the wireless signal.

Now some people have said that viruses may be the cause, but i know for a fact that that can't be true as i use an active version of kaspersky and ive also upgraded from windows xp to windows 7(the problem remains on both). the only thing that i could think of is that there must be something wrong with the Dlink usb thing. I hope I made sense. Help me out.

May be DNS problem. Have you tried using public dns servers, OpenDNS and Google public DNS are good ones.

Yes the virus may be the cause. Kespersky is not that great in finding some virus, in fact there is not antivirus on earth that can detect 100% of virus. I recommend you use a live linux CD like ubuntu on your PC and see if internet works fine in it, if it does than your windows network settings are messed up.

Yup even a full boot can remove the virus but if you install everything back from your backup folder than it will likely come back :). Well DNS servers resolve your typed URLs to their IPs and reroute the packets to concerned servers. You can search about changing DNS in google , writing everything here is not possible.

And yes May be its the hardware problem. Do check with nayatel guys and tell them the problem. Your CPE may need replacement.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.

Online session is enabled for UBL. I have an active subscription with my NayaPay card (it is already added to Google Payment Methods).

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

  • Aciel Aciel:
I tried both NayaPay, and UBL, but I keep getting "correct country selected..." error. I already have PK set there 🤦‍♂️

Nope. They have a very valid case. The above video explains it all.

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
