Dear PG Fellows,
My old friend HIS ATI 4850 just passed away due to my fault :( (3yrs old) last week after providing me alot of fun in PC Gaming in all the titles which i throw at it at amazing performance.
Now here comes its younger brother :) XFX ATI RADEON 6790 hope and wish it will provide us the same level of Performance in all the Games coming ahead.

So here you go behold the unboxing of XFX Radeon 6790 1 GB 256 bit GDDR5:
6790 = Scalled down version of 6850 with less processing shaders but is balenced with increased core clocks :D

PS1 the GPU you will find on XFX Website is with "Black" fan for 6790 and Red Fan Cooler with Red DVI connectors on back plate are for ATI Radeon 6850 :)
Along with that on XFX website that GPU also has 2 6pin power connectors where as this one has only 1 :D

PS2 i did not used the 6790 sticker on the heatsink as 6850 is looking good :)

Purchased from CZONE @ 14200 with 1 yr warranty.

Congratulations brother MashaALLAH great purchase... sorry for ur previous loss... one thing that kindly clean ur pc... i marked that there is hell of a dust in ur cpu cooler.. use a blower to clean that dust u will have better result.. :)

GPU-z Added i myself first checked the GPu-Z after hooking the card to the system but i guess my luck was not that great :D

Thanks Usman, yarr as you can read in my post 6790 is stripped down version of 6850 hence the same cooler is used by XFX and pasted the 6790 sticker on top ;) and for the 2x6 pin most of the GPU makers haved done this on 6790 you can check on the net.

Hi Zain, thanks yarr, i do keep the system clean but it gets the dust after every few months as my system is placed at the floor and the side vent is opened Plus due to Jharoo every days its gets in this shape but you are right the cleaning is due will do it InshAllah after eid.

P.S XFX bundle was not gr8 they even did not included the crossfire bridge :mad: thou i will not be using it, but anyways.

the same jharoo problem was there with me... and the best thing which can get rid this problem is that put ur pc on a table.... i mean put ur pc on the level which is upper then ground... and use blower to clean the cooler u will get better temps.. :)

Yarr abhi to 1 hafta bhi nhin hua ;) therefore cant risk as i also read on net that the disbaling of extra cores are on hardware level flashing will not do anything good.

Yarr there is no place on the computer shelf thats why the system is on the ground will close the case soon by installing some fans on the back to exhasute air.

    You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
