As far as I know the canon 50mm 1.8 would be a pretty bad choice for videos. It has a shit focus ring and very noisy autofocus. The new STM version fixes that but it costs somewhere around 12k. As for sony the a3000/a3500 is pretty cheap but I have no idea how it is for video. And you might want to check that olx ad again because that lens was probably canon fd mount and can't be mounted on modern canons without an adapter

thanks for the reply. Well I don't think it would be difficult for pro to play with manual lens and it would be better for me too because mostly videos will be still. and sony is hard to find in my range at least better than 600d. I have a way to get 700d from my friend on half partner ship! will cost me 25k

I agree, all serious video work is always done with manual focus lenses and the old canon 50mm f1.8 is useless for manual focus. I recommend the new STM version. Like I said the Canon lens you saw on olx was probably the old FD mount used by film cameras and not by the new digital ones. If you want to adapt old lenses go for either Nikon lenses or M42 (screw mount) and buy the appropriate adapter. But be warned, this route may not be as cheap as you're expecting
