well i am recieving an error chasis intruded fatel error system halted.. i push the CMOS button on board it clears the bios setting then i can go in the windows with saving anything in the bios... and when the system starts again ... the same msg appears chasis intruded system halted.. as i have checked the chassis jumper settings its normoal on ground more.. so what can be the possible reason?

legend there no such kinda option ... i have checked all power option all are on default settings.... what can be the reason of this.. as i have open the processor a day back now its giving my this error any kinda hardware error or anything device properly not working error
Make sure that your processor is seated properly on the Motherboard. And update your Motherboard BIOS to see if it helps.
Just keep in mind that if you see Chassis Intrusion or Power Supply Intrusion option in the BIOS, it should be DISABLED.
can you tell us what exactly was the problem so that it may helps other if they unfortunately have this problem in future
yea sure.... i just removed my processor 2 days back n when i put it back it start giving me chassis intruded... first i didnt get the error frm where it coming then i saw a jumper setting on the motherboard named as chasis....i removed it n put it back many times but still same issue..intrusion detected fatal error system halted... then asus men told me power off the cpu remove the chassis jumper.. then power on the cpu put the jumper back as the system in on ....so when i did that issue is resolved finally .. chassis jumper is a chip which sends high signals to devices n if there any device missing it gives error...
yeah i feel really great when asus tem solved my problem
