The community determined the success of a MP game back then, as it does now. Battlefield 4 had a pretty big community back then, but the series peaked out at BF1 (which actually sucked and was only successful because it rode on the success of BF4)

Irony is that the consoles can be fooled into thinking you're using a controller when you could can plug a KB/mouse via third party devices and circumvent the input based matchmaking. Not only that, devices like Cronusmax let you run anti-recoil and auto aim scripts on consoles which are impossible to detect.

Yep. While online communities are pleading developers and console manufacturers to ban XIM/Cronusmax cheaters, some people out here trying way too hard to make you believe that its not an issue that plagues ALL console MP games, not just Warzone :hah:

Not to mention, devs have the ability to patch out support for PS4 controllers in PS5 games that currently do support them

Not that these input-based scripts came anywhere close to the cheats available on PC, but is console multiplayer cheater-free enough for you now, Necrokiller?

Nah, it's not a cat and mouse game here, because the PS5 simply doesn't provide the same level of access to usb devices that the PS4 did. It's been a year since the console's launch, and games like Fortnite continue to be Cronus-free on PS5

The PS4 user base will become a non-issue, as games will no longer be cross-gen eventually. Heck, Hell Let Loose is already current-gen-only as is your precious Battlefield 20-42 fps's 128 player Conquest mode, and both are cronus-free

This game is dead on arrival tired of these WW2 CODs make something new and refreshing like afghan war korean war or dozen other conflicts which usa initiated recently but nah WW2 is where these developers want to remain forever.
