What's the whole scene of call centres in Lahore? Can I get any info you guys have on it?

Who are providing call center training?

What are their requirements?

Pay scale?

Working hours?

And so on. And as per my knowledge, some company named 'Ovex' and TRG (The Resource Group) pay good somewhere around 40k-ish; no idea on the incentives though.

And also what if some guy absolutely SUCKS at their accent but can somewhat talk in English can apply for it? Like would they be eligible for training?

Basically how does this all work? :|

Sorry. Suckies are not welcomed, even by the ones who pay you 5 to 6K.

After that its bonuses. The more customers you snatch, the more bonuses you get.

Its all about your English and your voice. Men with deep voice are preferred a lot.

Haha. So suckies don't get much of a chance to train either? I heard there is something like that.

Yes. They will teach you some general words and how to pronounce them properly because you dont want to show them (customers) that you are some outsider. OFC they wont hire or train any villager. :p

You just have to some specific set of lines. That is all.

If you're dealing with Americans or British people then you need to have excellent speaking skills and a good accent. The call center I worked for about a year ago (Touchstone) had training for 4-5 days only, after which only the suitable candidates were selected.

Unfortunately 'talking somewhat in English' won't work. You can't just go from a zero to an excellent communicator in a matter of few days. But you know I've seen a lot of people with terrible accents working on USA based call centers so there's no harm in trying.

That's true. But the question is more of which call centers are willing to give training to these verbal noobs?

It's not ii7 anymore Abuses will lead to ban, it is Team VK :p.

Btw do try to get in one which pays fixed salary rather than those who pay on the number of deals you make .

call center operations are mostly divided into 2 operations:

1. inbound (customer service)
2. outbound (sales)

now they are further divided into domestic and foreign markets. For foreign markets you need to have a great foreign accent (for good company's anyways).
For local markets you can obviously have local accent and can also speak in urdu (or regional languages) as well.

The good call centers who pay the most will rigorously train you...they can afford to take the best. Training usually lasts for 2-3 weeks.

Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
