is there any place where i can see which cards can be tri fired? a list of them all ! i mean the ones which have 2 slots for connecting bridges! amd only

You've to be more specific as what you actually want to achieve. Many graphics cards are limited to 2-way SLI/CFX only, mostly the mid-end ones. i.e. GTX 560 Ti is only limited to 2-way SLI while 448 Cuda Core version can do 3-way so far.

Hi All ,

One of my colleague is in US and i was hoping to fetch an EVGA GTX 680 for building my pc , but unfortunately shippings are delayed and i wont be able to get gtx 680 in time. What should be the second best option i was thinking about EVGA GTX 580 Classified Ulta 3 GB with 900 Mhz Core Clock. This card costs 539$ at newegg.com but i am really confused as to get a normal 1.5 gb gtx 580(as it would be cost efficient -100$) or go for the ultra one. Please Help Urgent

@BlackAdder get the GTX 670 DC II TOP, it retails for $419 and it's faster than the GTX 680 thus far. This is your "second best" option.

It's not the reference model. Reference model has 950 MHz core clock in comparison to it's 1058. And yes, Asus only asking $20 more than the reference graphics card so I reckon it's a steal.

Hahah , well not the 20$ over all the 100-150$ difference then 580 and 680 i was referring to that

That's why I said it's a "steal" deal. You won't find a GTX 680 for 420us$ anyway.

Get what baghi suggested. You should check out reviews and benchmarks of it on internet. It's faster than a reference 680. You should also check out the inno3d ichill 670. it also has beaten the palit jetstream 680 4gb in most of the benches. But I dont know if it's available or not.

Thanks for your help it was just in time.Card has been recieved and en route alongwith nvidia 3d vision kit .Now i have to build pc and i am thinking of getting AS ROCK Extreme Gen 4 Z77 motherboard(18500) , Asus v236h 3D LED, I7 2700K processor , Corsair Ram 12 GB , Antec 500W power Suply , Xigmatek Elysium Casing(Have two slots for Power Supply can just add one 500W more if going for SLI). Do you approve this setup

Well regarding the power supply i just want enough currently to support the system , if go for SLI in a year or two may be then i can add another , why to buy now as in near future i donot plan to add another GPU

Its not a good idea bro
If in the future u want to go for SLI then sell ur 500W PSU and get a 700-800W one

Because running 2x PSU is not recommended at all unless u need some 1500+ Watt of Power for which a single PSU will be hard to find
