Hello guys.. new here well not really been in the background for quite a while.. havent posted here too much.

Anyhow I am looking to buy a new PC (mid budget gaming)

i have made the list of the components


Processor
Core2Duo 2.33GHz E6550

Motherboards
XFX NForce 630i

Hard Drive
Western Digital 160GB3.5"HDDSATA II 7200RPM

Optical Drive
LiteOn DVDROM

Video Card
XFX GeForce PCX 8800GS 384MB (192-BITS)

Peripherals
Used MONITOR 17" DELL
Keyboard & mouse

Memory
Corsair DDR-II 1GB-667

Casing
ASUS TA8 SILVER/BLACK

PSU
Cooler master 460 WATTS

I have only one question should i stick with Intel E6550 or Should i opt for the Intel's New E8400 3.0 Ghz 6MB Cache 1333 Mhz FSB ?


AT Present The Rig's Total Price is Rs 42,300
If i get E8400 it only costs me Rs 3800 more

my recommendations are:

1, wait for E8400
2, try getting Asus P5K-VM
3, better get seagate hard drive
4, buy regular 1000rs casing, wth Cm PSU and save money for more RAM i.e. get 2GB. also saves money for mobo as well.


but in the end, it's your money, you do what you want and don't worry about others:).

I also agree with fawad dont even think to go for Inno , I also have not fond memories of Inno and heard a lot abt Inno issues of frying stick with the XFX its Best. and also agree with fahad on Asus P5K-VM rest is on you.Where you want to save and where you want to spend.

Ive used Inno3D cards havent had any problem with them so far. I keep an open case always though.

Speaking of that, dude ... why getting an Asus casing ? Sadhi 1000 wali lay lo!

yeah buy promedia casing instead, they are a lot cooler... asus rips u off in casing department... you current mobo (630i) doesn't support e8400... so u'll have to change your mobo too to support new CPU, p5kv and p5kvm are good choices :)

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
