I'll just explain what I've tried so far and what the results were...
First I made a DVD-R copy of a badly scratched Prince Of Persia Two Thrones disc, which my PS 2 wasnt reading. Then it reads it but gets stuck again and again in the intro, and I cant even skip it..
Later, I burned:
Smack Down vs. Raw 07 on DVD-R
Devil May Cry 3 on DVD+R
Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkachi 3 on DVD+RW
Burnout 3: Dominator on DVD-RW
All of the above give 'The disc cannot be read' error. Even after numerous resets.
Another thing is, I bought a Midnight Club 3 DVD-R from the shop and it works fine, never gave the disc read error...
So what is causing this, does my PS 2 doesnt like DVD R, + or - or even RW. Or am I not burning these properly ...
I am using Nero burning suite, first I make a Virtual CD, then mount and copy DVD using Nero at 2x write speed... And the Dragonball Z game was downloaded ISO..
Is there something wrong with my procedure ? Is there a special way of burning these games ?
Now I have bought expensive DVD-R Verbatim media, so I wanted to ask before ruining these DVDs as well !
Help me out here please..
