Like wise, you don't understand the word "CENTRAL" Processing Unit and "GRAPHICS" Processing Unit. GPU is the most important part in a "gaming" PC followed closely by CPU and then the rest. Your suggested combination is terrible. I'm sorry.

and no, a motherboard doesn't make an i7 performs like an i3 by any means. Stop misleading.

I wont even argue with you since you got no knowledge on what you are suggesting or even saying to say the least, there is no performance difference between 1155 chipset just additional features. And whats the use of Z77 with i3? you gonna overclocked a locked i3 processor? or you gonna use its hd2500 integrated graphics for quick sync lol?. Higher frequency ram doesn't benefit you in gaming. You're putting "too" much weight on these features. First thing first, I don't recommend an i7 for his needs. And you said "10k wala motherboard". 10k fetches you a "decent" B75-based motherboard such as a Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H which can be had for less than 10k. Should I highlight it's features? It has 4 RAM slots, 1x SATA-III (6 Gbps) port, 2x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI/DVI to hook and utilize iGPU of Ivy Bridge to fullest when needed.

Now coming to SLI, Virtue MVP and Overclocking: For an SLI he also has to get a bigger PSU, bigger computer chassis and not to mention the problems you face with multi GPU configuration. Virtue MVP is NOT absolutely necessary especially when you're getting a graphics card with 2GB of video memory. It's useful when you run out of vRAM in some games you can share your integrated graphics' available video memory and remedy this issue. Overclocking is not everyone's taste. You do know he's new to all this stuff and yet you assume he'll be overclocking? Please.

his thinking makes sense actually, if you keep upgradability in mind but that, when one is on strict budget of 40-50k and getting Z75/Z77 board dead cheap.

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
