BSOD help please

So i was just playing warframe on my pc and a bsod decided to show up ,now i immediately decided to download bluescreenview to see what the prob was and it was a atikmdag.sys bsod .. now i can see from other forums that this is a graphics driver related problem , can any one tell me if this is in anyway a serious problem or that i should be concerned at all, btw i checked for latest drivers and i have them installed already, my gpu is Radeon 7770


also, when the bsod showed up it wasnt like any other that i had seen it was just scrambled and kept making that sound that it does , just sayin if it would be helpful

bsods happen for many reasons including the Ram, Mobo, CPU and the GPU..
could be due to overheating or just a software related issue.

try re installing the GPU drivers.
install MSI afterburner and Hardware monitor.

monitor the temps of the system, GPU and the CPU when the system is at load (gaming or furmark) and report back.

remember to keep monitoring those temps.

remove driver and reinstall it ,
And check if your windows have any recently updated package ..
Aksar windows update package install hone ki waja se bhi hojata hai.

[MENTION=24345]Zeus MK[/MENTION] ok man the temps are normal for everything except when i checked my mobo systin temp it showed 120C , but after reading thorugh some forums i found that it was a software glitch and it wasnt ever heating , i checked for virus but there wasnt any found , i am going to reinstall the graphics driver though shortly and will bring back the results

that's must be bogus. otherwise your cpu and gpu would have been roasted.
anyway especially monitor the CPU and GPU reading

yea i figured it was , as for my cpu and gpu readings on idle my cpu is around 39-42 degrees C and my gpu on idle is the same
while running bf3 and google chrome on background it is about 50C so i guess both temps are fine
also do i really have to re-install the drivers or should i wait until another bsod comes ?

temps are too good to be true imo.
it's a software related issue then

try re installing gpu drivers. if problem presets then re install fresh windows and drivers.
windows corruption and concealed viruses are also the reasons of BSOD.

i have memories of max payne 3 now.. it was max pain 3.. if guys remember it

i am now reinstalling the graphics drivers but should i install the catalyst suite or the beta ones ? ppl told me the beta ones might have bugs that caused the crash in the first place

ok guys i have now reinstalled my graphics driver and have run 3 games each for one hour and have had no crashes since, i will however keep this thread open if any thing does happen in the future but for now i think my problem is solved. Thank you for the replies
