man i have world call now n i get terrible latencies./....150+ on wc servers n 300+ on other paki servers.....duno wat international servers will be lykk.....so i applied forptcl 512 n everything was fi9..i even got ma id n pass fmr thm but thn i got a call frm em saying ptcl has servise issues in ma area so they wud recomend me not to get...wtf man.....so now m really pissed of...i need to get a decent 512 conection which has low lattency....i know abt ldn but it has the same ping prob too....any other suggestions?...i m based in khi alhamra society,,,

tough luck for u bro. i applied for ptcl too but they havent contacted me yet. My dad's got connections so he'll probably get it installed by PTCL in a couple a days.
wateen is a solution for u but too expensive
also i heard mobilink is also starting wimax network, wait for that cuz then wateen and ptcl,LDN and evry other ISP would get tough competition which means lower prices.

I heard about Mobilink launching a Wimax service. 1MBPS for 1200RS unlimited bandwidth. But I'll never trust a wireless connection for online gaming.

If PTCL is not an option then get LDN. The ping problems have been fixed. Heck, I even play MGO on Malaysian servers with minimal latencies. I get 70-80 on MBL too. That's more than playable.

fady, try not to double/triple post.

Link.NET had latency issues a month back, but it is fine these days. Am myself an LDN user.
Maxcom is more expensive than LDN and its service is comparable/worse than LDN.

my cuzn tld me b4...they dont provide services in alhamra society,mohd ali etc....btw the funy part is i live at the edge of alhamra...u know beside yaqeen model...just across it on the shaheed-e-millat road is the london colege whr u get the service....tht suked big tym

I agree with Shyber the LDN had severe issues till a month or two back since they were relying on PTCL to provide them all the bandwidth. Now they are buying much more capacity from TW1. TW1 is the new international bandwidth seller and only private submarine cable operator of Pakistan. Their service is no doubt better than PTCL but they dont sell to us little home users

SO the best bet it to buy through LDN.

I hav been online gaming through Max com for the last 3 years. WOW= World Of Warcraft. I have been planning to shift to LDN as soon as i have a separate phone line. I cant afford to have a down time in shifting from Max Com to LDN so i have to wait for now.
