[Help] Brand New Core i5 6400 Restarting Again & Again

AoA guys hope you all are fine. I upgraded my system on Thursday as mention in this unboxing thread. Now i am facing a weird problem.
I was done assembling the pc with old HDD & PSU (Cooler Master B600). I restarted the system & it shutdown and was't starting again.
I thought PSU is causing the problem. I took it out and tested it on my brother's PC and it was not working.

Next day (Friday) I took it to friend of mine and he tested & it was working. I bring the psu back home & put it again in the system and installed
the windows 10. All this go smooth. I saw that computer properties show 4GB Ram & i installed 2x 4GB. So i shut down the system and changes the
RAM slot. On starting the system again the system is restarting again & again after couple of seconds?

What could be the reason behind this? Help me guys plz.
It is RAM (Cosrair Vengeance LPX CMK4GX4M1A2400X16) which isn't compatible with my motherboard(Gigabyte B150M-D3H)? (But windows installation process was smooth!)

Or there is some other issuse???

Try it with a different motherboard . Or put the ram in another slot . Give the ram a blow for assurance along with the slot

From my experience ,when I had this issue ,it was mainly because I had a lot of components on my motherboard and it didnt have that much power to support it . Try running it on one stick and disconnect the non-essential components like dvd drives etc

I started the system with all components connected and it restarted. I took out all the extra components & the load was just cpu+mobo+1 250Gb HDD + 1 4GB Ram & the system didn't started again. I tried switching off and on again and again but the system didn't start!

I Guess Its My PSU Fault

My previous mother was dead for last 3-4 months before that I have run Core i5 2400 + DH61WW + 4GB X2 DDR3 + Asus Gtx 970 on this PSU.
But one of my friends psu was burnt due electrical fluctuation and he borrowed my psu. I think electrical fluctuation in his area had also ruined my psu...

Its most likely your PSU. Stop trying to power your PC with that faulty PSU, as it might damage other components. Your precious GPU being the first.

I cant really suggest you the exact model of a PSU. But I would suggest going with ThermalTake or Corsair. I have personally used Thermaltake TR2 600W for more then 1 year, and its still running stable. Look for 80 Plus Gold certified PSUs if you really want them to last a few years (they are expensive)

Phil should be held responsible for this shitfest too, just like Sarah, but it's highly likely that these decisions are coming from Satya. And this isn't even the end of it. More closures are coming.

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
