Nothing at Costo for me unfortunately. The best deals are usually at BB or at MS store. I am going to take a plunge for the XBOX ONE X if its anything close to 300 which I'm hoping to get from the MS store.

BB is generally very good for all electronics, not just games. That's where I got my sweet ass TV from and various other things for the house.

Yeah BB is probably the best when it comes to electronics. Their now defunct, GCU membership was unparalleled. Luckily, I still have probably a year left of it. For the XBOX ONE X though KOHL's has easily the best deal this year. USD 399 for the 1TB X plus $120 Kohl's cash.

If they're 1440p then those are pretty sweet deals. Not so much for 1080p at that size.

The one in the deal is 1080p. Though, realistically would I even need a 1440p display ? It's primarily going to be used with my laptop which is a 1080p/60 FPS machine anyway. It doesn't exactly do 1440p/60 in most modern games unless I do a lot of lowered settings. I can see it being a decent thing for the computer so I don't have to unplug it and take it to the TV for gaming every now and then.

No you do not. But I assumed you'd be fine with a bit of upscaling or lowering some settings.

If you still want a bigger monitor that your laptop can handle, and you aren't afraid to try something new, my suggestion would be to take the 21:9 ultra wide route. Its the best display upgrade I made and I likely won't be buying 16:9 monitors now.

Gonna wait a few more days to see if a better deal pops up, that $120 27'' monitor is supposedly on the same price on Best Buy until Nov 26th.
