Hi guys.

So basically a newbie question as I have never shipped goods from outside before. I have a relative in New York and he'd like to send me some electronic items, iPhone's & iPad's. They're packed in their original boxes. Now I don't know which shipping company I should rely on, so could you please suggest me some if you have used their services before. FedEx, DHL, TCS or? And what would the pricing be? And will it be safe? Thanks in advance!

I am also looking for the answer to this. I know that DHL is the least expensive for large shipments and fast, but DHL is a real hassle when it comes to dealing with customs and stuff. They charge clearance and holding and sorting and all that kind of stuff.

I heard that now a days the process has become more complicated. Beside custom and duties, air port authorities also want NOC of "Type Approval" from PTA for all telecom related products like phones, ipads, 3G devices. Getting NOC from PTA is also a big hassle. They do not issue NOC for common people for multiple devices.
