Best Opensource E-commerce platform

Hi guys so i was wondering what the best opensource e-commerce is out there. heard a lot about magento but there are other big names as well.

I have experience with opencart and not that impressed with it. Please share your experiences to help me decide which to move forward with.

1. The size(scale) of your shop or potential to scale/grow in near future.
2. The resources you have currently
3. "Total Cost of Ownership" of having an e-store.
