Best Games of the past and present

Over the years due to a lack of a gaming PC I missed out on almost every title released from 2010 - 2014. Now considering that I have a lot of time on my hands, I am looking to play all the "greats" that I have missed out over the years though I'm clueless as to which is good and which is satisfactory. So I would love some recommendations.

I only want "pretty good" or "amazing, overwhelming, or mind blowing" type games, "good or satisfactory" is not enough incentive for me to download and spend my time on that game.

Plz remove COD ghosts from the list you are better off with COD: Black OPS 1 and 2. As for metro, play BOTH games . Its called METRO REDUX . They are beefy games with amazing story.
