Best foreign country to do bachelors in engineering

Hey guys,

Due to the recent outset of fake bachelors degrees in pakistan,Iam being advised to go abroad for bachelors degree.Now I want you guys to suggest me which country to go for.The thing is,most countries are hell expensive.I want to go to a good reputed engineering university where living costs are comparitively cheaper.I can afford maximum 15 lac pkr per year including everything.

Get your self equipped for the local standard universities.
It is not mandatory that all universities offer fake degrees. If you are an excellent student, you can still do your work while going abroad.
Fake degrees are for those who never tend to study or want to be something. Jump to places without having prior knowledge on the designation they seek eagerly.

Pakistan has also the best universities, Only if you know how to get there.


PS : Remove the word Fake degrees in Pakistan, as it should not be considered this way according to your thinking. It sounds that all the population of Pakistan is corrupted.

I suggest you go for Nottingham University (which is one of the best unis in Europe based in UK), which has an official campus in Malaysia (Kuala Lampur I think, not sure). Anyway, Malaysia isn't nearly as expensive as other developed countries. I once found out that for Rs.50 lakh you can get a decent 2-bedroom apartment in downtown Kuala Lampur, so the rent will probably not be that high either, plus the uni offers scholarships so you can further lower your expenses if you really shine out from the rest.

well dude.... many unis in pakistan are authentic and are offering legit degrees ..... you just have to find them ... cant find them sitting home you know ....

well im going to swineburne malaysia this august. got my credit hours transfered. i have searched alot on study in malaysia and i think that one should go to malaysa rather australia uk . coz there are 4 international universities in malaysia.
monash university (from australia, ranked 49) engineering fee is17500RM/smester (1 U.S. dollar = 3.20549807 Malaysian ringgits)

and living expences are about 25-30k rupees per month
Nottingham university (from UK, ranked 92) engineering fee is 37000RM/year
curtin university (from aus, ranked 290s ) engineering fee is about 27000RM/year
and swinburne university (from aus, ranked about 450) engineering fee is about 25500 rm/year.

you can google their sites for more info.
expences are lesser as compare to UK and Aus and study standerd is same. you get australian degree and its acceridated by australian engineering degree acceridation socity (wot ever the exact name is) and malaysian engineering degree acceridated degree.
i have my frends studing in swinburne thats why i selectecd swinburne.

Your claim about the university of Nottingham is a bit wrong, it's not the best university in europe, however it's one of the good universities in UK and it do have a campus in Malaysia but getting admission in top universities requires that you have a good previous record in terms of grades. (school and college) secondly UK/Europe is not cheap.

BTW in which field you want to complete your BE? take a look on Canada and Australia universities they will be a bit cheaper than europe/UK, specially there are some top notch engineering universities in Australia.

PS: from where you have heard the BS about fake degrees? most of us has done our bachelors from Pakistan :S GIK, NED, NU Fast, NUST, Hamdard etc are all good engineering universities.

If you are so determined of going abroad for studying,and want to stay abroad,then try Finland and Sweden.Finland is better at the moment..You will spend an extra year for language learning,but mathematically speaking,the probability of finding a job on the basis of your degree is higher than any other European country.Same goes for Sweden at this time,i dont know after four years when you will complete your degree.
Plus if you ever want to marry a goree..Finland got the most loyal women in the whole wide Europe ..or so i have heard.

I really dont know who told you this but there are very reputed universities in pakistan, with international collaborations . Check NUST, GIKI, FAST, COMSATS, UET etc

i have never heard of this one before and i have lived my whole life here in Scandinavia, all i know about finland is that majority of the people there are too conservative and they dont like foreigners. so it that sense sweden is better but you should know its expensive as hell here.
