Playstation Avoid PSN Tax on purchase

I was just wondering can we avoid paying tax on Playstation i am using US account. I got 35 dollar card to upgrade PSN Plus to extra but later found out that i had to pay 38 because of tax.

May be i should be using Asian region account

Wsalaam. Go to your PSN account settings and change your State to Oregon or Delaware. Both are tax-free.

All digital products, like Netflix, online gift cards, and PlayStation Store purchases, will be subject to sales tax regardless of where the company is headquartered. This means more money on already inflated Canadian prices on imported goods. I think a few states do require taxes (I guess you can find them on paystub), but most don’t. Just go to the PSN store and add something to your cart. It should show you the taxes required(if you’re in one of those states) before you finish the checkout process.
