Auto China 2014 (56k Warning)

Although a bit late now but Here are some pictures from the Auto China 2014 (in Beijing's International Exhibition Center).


I didn't take my camera with me so had to rely on my Nexus 4 and xperia S for Pictures.

Started off with toyota. they didn't have anything special but managed to get a picture of gt86 before the everyone engulfed it. They also had a nice simulator Set up for people to play on

Well i hear its 160,000 yuan here ( may be off by a bit) that's around Rs 2,560,000/- but knowing the taxes in pakistan it could cost twice that ammount.

better take the DSLR next time, with a LENS that features USM "if u know what I mean "

I did take pictures of some of the beauties but had around 4 phones in my pocket so most of them are on my friend's phone. I'll upload them when i get them off him

Acura NSX Concept :heart: i do hope that comes into retail market

Well i hear its 160,000 yuan here ( may be off by a bit) that's around Rs 2,560,000/- but knowing the taxes in pakistan it could cost twice that ammount.

it costs 60 lacs to get one imported...a friend of mine tried getting it but then backed off due to its engine(its underpowered with little room to tinker according to him). this car is nothing like Supra even though its suppose to be its successor.

Now comes the price thingy. Shouldn't be more than 30 lac for GT and 35 ~40 lac for GTS. if someone asks more than that its just plain rip-off. Even Suby BRZ is costing 42k here in Australia. F*** the customs and the high taxes in Pakistan. The morons will still ask for more ... Stab for Money cunts.

Now coming back to underpowered specs ... so here are the official news about exciting 86.

dude i think u dont knw how customs work here. the car costs 30k $ in JAP and after customs clearance, 60lac is a reasonable figure considering its brand new+luxury car!

although i cant comment on engine performance as i hardly know anything abt it atm but my friend's knowledge in automobile is pretty extensive. his projects are very well known and decent. he actually arranged for a test drive in dubia and if he found something wrong in this car then i trust his word

know the custom clearance in Pakistan thats why i used bit aggressive/abusive tone for the fat bludgers. Also 86 can't be said to be in Luxury car category. Its an irony that govt. don't know nothing about these stuff and they allow absurd regulations for common beings to pay hefty price tag for above average transport utility.

The good thing about Japanese cars like 86 is that people can tune it, modify it to optimum level, know the power is just 150kwh but it does a pretty awesome job in handling closer to Porsche.

Im also considering to get GTS model, tossing up between this and Nissan 370z.

And by the way, i think that Honda s200, toyota supra, nissan skyline, silvia, 350z,370z are a bit more of a good competitors :spiteful:
