Audio Delay with Onkyo Amp!

By the Grace of Almighty ALLAH I've purchased Onkyo 5.1 Home Theater for my PC. Now the problem is that I am facing an audio delay of about 3-4 seconds and 4-6 seconds in video, can someone please tell me how can i solve this?

I've connected it with Dell ST2410 and Nvidia GTX 560Ti 1gb GPU via HDMI Cable (v1.4).

P.S All of the drivers are updated.


Need help with this problem because the delay is really annoying.

I've never used Onkyo amps but I found this info on the net:

To compensate for this potential delay, the AV Sync function has been implemented on all video inputs ( adjustable via the setup menu). This function allows to manually adjust the delay between sound and image (if required).
