Atrix 4g vs iphone 4 vs samsung galaxy s i9000

Yes! there bootloaders differ in some cases and sometimes the whole fw. Don't go for atrix as its a branded phone plus few guys already suggested you, go for it if ur a geek else go for the iphone4 (as its has quite better app support (gam from big names and it suits your needs.

I used to have this T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S it had a different bootloader then i9000 but same hardware and stuff (That was my first branded phone and i will not be buying any branded carrier locked phone again). Debranding these phones is always a mess, Unlocking and all i got a brick once when in the process so it's better to get Factory Unlocked ones.

Branded wont matter unless its features are unlocked.. Its 3G or 4G functions wont work if its carrier specifc.. there wont be much custmization option since bootloader is locked too and Atrix 4G was launched specific for AT&T and Motorola is not gonna unlock bootloader for it sooner..

And i heard it has some fuse which Hard Bricks ur device if u try flashing a custom Rom in it... thats really not good..

But my knowledge is very less... do a google search before buying..

So where was this statement when i shared the cons of this phone with you? When you were just not ready to accept it?

Who the hell needs official updates anymore? Everyone knows they dont release updates that often, and even if they do, they seem pretty outdated because Custom Updates are always come up first, by Android community.


More or less same problem was there with Samsung's T-Mobile Vibrant (Galaxy S). At first for a long time, it wasnt supported by Andoird Community, which means not much support for this phone.
But now, there are as many as the Original i9000.

Unless the phone is some sort of US version, it wont be much problem for people.

so far it is working very good. it is my first smart phone. i used my friends wildfire for a week. wildfire is nothing compared to this. havnt used any other smart phone to compare it with

Just read the reviews guys atrix has lots and lots of bugs...the guy here is using a smartphone for first what can you expect from him to find out lol... Imo iphone4>galaxy s>>>>>>>>>>atrix
