Ati 5750 vs gts 250

Well im thinking of buying a gpu of around 14k!

Which of the following card do you think is better! checking various sites reveals that gts250 is 2-3 fprs faster whereas 5750 has dx11.

both card are of 13.5 k in market!

add in 4870 also coz its also in same price range. now its even more confusing!

if u dont want dx11 go with 4870....but 4870 needs heavy duty power supply and is much faster than both mentioned cards...choose between 4870 and 5750(if want dx11) otherwise 4870 is excellent choice

its a cooler master power supply!
simply bought it from galaxy dont knw the exact details

it will run fine...no need to worry abt it........but still wait for some experts opinion...
By the way you also have another choice buy HD4770 and keep 3.5k in ur pocket...........overclock it and it can actually beat gts250 is most scenarios... actually it can be overclocked (850mhz for the core and 3800+ for memory) (stock 750/3200)....otherwise buying 4870 is a wise decision

if i not wrong galaxy out of stock 5750 and price up to 16.5k in Lahore as i was went to buy 5750 this saturday and end up with 4770

i have two different setups!

the 4850 is in saudia

i called galaxy today and they said 5750 is availiable!
if not then ill go for 4870 ??? if not then its confusion raw power vs new features

my suggestion is leave 5750 and go to 4870 i u power supply can run it u wont need to upgrade for long time 4770 is very very slow compare to 4870 and still 4770 run all games at 1080p including crysis

there is another option suggested by a friend to buy a 2nd hand 4850 or gts 250 and buy a 2gb ram.

but if u have 1.8ghz duel core then u dont need 4870 pg hardware guru said even my 2.8ghz is not good enough for 4870
then buy 4770 used and 2gb but still its only my suggestion conform with others

man if i were you i would just grab the 5750
i know its the same as gts 250
but it has dx11 support
and when oced it can pass 4870 stock performance
is cheap new technology
so i would say 5750

simply go for 4870. get a Decent and full cooler version of 4870. it will work fine on your psu.
4870 > 5750 > GTS250.
you can OC 4870 too as well as 5750 !

Go for HD5750 , u wont even need HD4870 , thats a highend card and u will not regret getting HD5750 bcoz ur resolution is just 1280x1024!

If u can find 5750 under 14K then get it and use it at ur native resolution and if u feel the need for more power then just overclock it, coz i think Ati 57xx series can be overclocked pretty well and it also is more power efficient and cooler than Ati 48xx series. Plus it also has Dx11 support which can come handy in future eventhough i doubt that how much performance hit this card will have with DX11 enabled.

But right now temps is the bigger issue than Dx10 vs Dx11 so just get 5750.

Otherwise if u wana save money and wana go with 2nd hand GPu then get Ati 4770 and overclock it like hell.
